Chapter 34

That night Hinata couldn't sleep. His thoughts were keeping him wide awake and his brain had no intention of calming down. He liked Kageyama, not just because he was his mate. He was sure it was more than that. He couldn't help but not know if he was making the right choice. He wanted to know if Kageyama actually liked him. Their date today was amazing but something felt fake. Maybe it was Kageyama's love towards Kichirou. Kageyama hasn't expressed his feelings towards Kichirou. "Tobio, do you really love our son?" The omega said, turning over to face the alpha. Kageyama suddenly pulled Hinata closer to him by the waist and cuddled him close. "Of course I do." He murmured. Hinata flinched and blushed.  "How long have you been awake?" Hinata said, blushing. Kageyama hummed in thought. "30 minutes." He grumbled. 

Hinata sighed, Kageyama really has been awake the whole time. "I couldn't go to sleep with you sighing and turning all night. Then you asked me that question, what's going on, Shoyo." Kageyama said, trying to comfort the omegas. Hinata's breathing relaxed, he let tears run down his face. "I'm scared this is too good to be true. W-what if I am dead Tobio? I don't think I deserve this, I- I tried to kill myself after all. I don't deserve such an amazing mate and lavish lifestyle." He said, letting his thoughts come out in whole. Kageyama was shocked. "Shoyo, you deserve everything in the fucking world, because you endured so much shit that I put you in. 5 fucking years, of being strong by yourself dammit. You're not dead. You're alive and living good because you fucking deserve it." Kageyama said, sternly. Hinata sobbed and sniffed. 

Kageyama kissed his forehead. "I'm getting you better therapy classes. If you're suddenly saying shit like this, I don't think they're working." Kageyama said, sitting up. He put the omega in his lap and continued to comfort him. He rubbed his back then grabbed his phone. He started looking for a new therapist for Hinata. After a couple of minutes, Kageyama heard Hinata start purring. He laid back with the omega on top of him and still looked at his phone. Before falling asleep, Hinata gave the alpha a kiss on the cheek. "I love you Kageyama..." He whispered, Kageyama blushed and watched the omega fall into a deep sleep. "I love you too boke." Kageyama said, closing his phone and falling asleep as well. In the morning, Kageyama woke up with Hinata not near him as usual. He got out of bed then went to the bathroom. 

After getting himself ready, he went into the living room. He saw Kichirou and Hinata cuddled up on the couch. "Daddy! We made hot choco!" Kichirou said, getting off the couch and running towards the two. Hinata smiled and put his mug down. "May I have some?" He asked, Kichirou nodded and brought him to the kitchen. "Daddy I have question." Kichirou asked. Kageyama looked at him confused then bent down to hear him. "What's up?" He responded. Kichirou glanced at Hinata and whispered in Kageyama's ear. "Marry mommy so we can be a real family. That's what Miwa said." Kichirou whispered. Kageyama scoffed then blushed. "Don't tell him all my plans, kid." Kageyama then poked Kichirou's nose. He giggled then continued to help Kageyama make his hot chocolate.
