Old Mate (KageHina Omegaverse)

Chapter 23

A male dressed in a suit, opened the door for Hinata and Kageyama. The omega looked at the car in awe. "Well? Are you going to stand here in the cold or get in?" Kageyama asked, lifting his eyebrow up in confusion. Hinata quickly nodded, then got into the car. Kageyama sat beside him and pulled out his phone. Hinata had trouble containing his excitement. He was finally going to be able to go home. He missed his home, maybe Kageyama could let him stay at least one more night. But the Hinata did feel heavily guilty. He did the one thing his pup was scared of. Now the little boy was never going to get better. Hopefully, he didn't break the little alpha's trust. He began letting off a distressed smell that quickly caught Kageyama's attention. "What's wrong Hinata?" Kageyama stated in a worried manner. 

He quickly put his phone down then paid all of his attention to Hinata. "My son... god I scared him so bad. He was already so anxious before, to imagine how he might be now." Hinata said, he covered his face with his hands then bit his lip. Kageyama patted his back then cleared his throat. "I'm sure we can find a way to make sure Kichirou knows you're always going to be okay." Kageyama said, trying his best to comfort his omega. He wasn't the best at comforting anyone, even himself. The omega still began to let out distressed pheromones until they pulled up to Tadashi's house. Kageyama helped Hinata out. They walked up to the door, Hinata knocked on it eagerly. Kei opened the door, then he looked at the two of them confused. "Hinata? Aren't you supposed to be in the hospital? Kei asked. Hinata could tell that he had just woken up. 

"They let me out early... Can we come in?" Hinata asked, Kei opened the door wider to let the two come in. As they walked inside Kageyama and Kei shared a hostile glare to each other. "King... I was really surprised when I found out you were the shrimp's omega." Kei commented. Kageyama hated Kei. They've met way before, as coworkers. "Don't call me that, Kei. I'm not here for you." Kageyama snarled. Hinata could feel the tense atmosphere then walked into the guest room. He quietly opened the door but Kichirou wasn't asleep. He was just shivering and holding his shark plush for dear life. "Kichirou... Mommy's back." Hinata said, kind of confused. Kichirou jumped out of the bed then hugged omega. "Mommy! I missed you!" Kichirou said, hugging onto his mother tightly as if they hadn't seen each other a couple of hours ago. 

"I know... Mommy's sorry Kichirou. But we can go home, then after we go home we're going to move in with Daddy." Kichirou's eyes widened, then he smiled widely. "Where is Daddy?" The little boy asked. Kageyama then walked inside. Kichirou started to clap then hugged the both of them. "Does this mean we can be a real family?" The little boy asked. Hinata teared up then nodded. Hinata picked his son up then hugged him tightly. "Yes kiddo, we can be a real family." Hinata said, comforting his son. Kageyama rubbed his fingers through his son's messy hair. "I'm going to stay the night here with him. In the morning, let's go to my house." Hinata said, taking off his  shoes and jacket. Kageyama nodded as he looked at the time. "Okay. I'll have to leave early tomorrow but I'm good for tonight." 

Kichirou smiled as he cuddled up to his mom. Hinata smiled then kissed his forehead. "But you have to promise to not wet the bed. Auntie Tadashi told me that you've been wetting the bed every night. I know I taught you better than that." Hinata said. Kichirou blushed then shook his head. "I-I'm sorry. But it harder when Auntie Tada throws up in middle of the night." Hinata looked at him surprised. "He's throwing up?" Hinata asked. Kichirou nodded his head, Hinata decided to ask Tadashi about it in the morning. They laid down but Kichirou still got up. "Daddy come on... you promised." Kichirou pouted. Kageyama let out an annoyed sigh. "Fine." He got comfortable on the other side of Kichirou then closed his eyes.
