I walked up to her. She's standing there at locker 352. Alicia is magnificent. As she pulls a strand of her brown hair behind her right ear I approach her.
I'm nevous, I've had a crush on this girl for three years, I'm not letting this moment slip. All that's going through my head is "God, she's gorgeous."
I get the courage and say "Hey" she doesn't hear me.
"Alicia?" I say, thinking am talking to a complete stranger. Then she looks at me.
She's perfect. Her brown locks pulled into a ponytail in the back of her head, her big blue eyes starring at me. I stutter.
" I'm Oliver, Oliver Thurhill."
She looks at me for a second like I am crazy to even talk to her. She shifts her weight. Her blue shirt and tight jeans shifting perfectly with her.
"Alicia, Alicia Penticost."
The way she talks, its like an angel singing. Alicia is smart, an Honors Band and Chorus participant, and has just had her heart broken. Austin Westworthy. The boy who just made the biggest mistake of his life. Giving up on a girl who has everything. I fumble with my fingers. She looks nervous as well.
"You have plans Friday?" as soon as I say it I know its too soon. I can't back out now. I wait for the answer, but she's hesitant.
"No, none at all." Alicia looks at me with her delicate eyes and waits.
"Great, you want to hang out?"
"Sure, 7:00?"
"You got it!" and my heart starts to race. My hands get sweaty and I feel like I just won the lottery. I actually have a date with Alicia Penticost, the girl who has everthing. And me Oliver Thurhill, the guy who just got everything.
