"You look breathtakingly beautiful, my love."Haidar complimented as Mufida settled down in the front seat of his car. He waited for her to return back from goggo's house and also offered her a ride to her house, he wanted to sort out everything before it's too late, he also want to prove his father that this time around he is the one who is wrong, and not him.

Mufida batted her eyelashes at him and buckled up her seatbelt. "Tell me something I don't know."She replied with a small grin on her face.

"Feeling herself."Haidar said, rolling his eyes skywards and turned the engine to life, before hitting for the road. He was tense, it's very visible, but Mufida decided to keep shut till they reach their final destination safely.

In no time, Haidar's car was parked in front of their house. She insisted that he entered but he said he wanted to talk to her, which was also on her mind.

"Haidar what's the problem ? I noticed it throughout the whole ride you looked tense."Mufida stated staring earnestly at Haidar.

Haidar sighed and ran his right palm over his face. He isn't able to say a thing to her, why ? He doesn't even know where to start from. The test reports were in his pocket and he slowly reached for it.

"Wherever there is Mufida, there is love."Mufida paused slightly forming a smile on her lips. She noticed how nervous he is, so she decided to make him laugh a little with her own bad jokes. "And when there is love, there is a way. So whatever it is don't feel afraid of facing me Haidar."

"I told Baba about us."Haidar started and paused pointing at Mufida and himself. "And my intentions towards you."

Mufida felt her smile for dropping completely. Haidar was talking about his father and also their marriage. It's a good thing huh ? Then why is he tense about it ? Is there something wrong ?; She couldn't help the questions her conscience threw at her.

"That's why I wanted to meet you in the first place."Haidar sighed again and brought out the test reports, and gripped them tightly between his palms.

"Is something wrong?"Mufida questioned, her eyes curiously gazing at the paper he was holding as though his life depended on it.

"Yes, Mufida I don't even know how to deal with it this time around. Baba is making it hard for me, he said I can't marry you."

Mufida gulped hard, she quickly turned her head to the other side to hide her almost teary eyes away from Haidar's view. She isn't a cry baby but the things he said managed to make her one. If his father is against this marriage then what the hell are they still doing together ? Without his father's consent then their marriage is impossible.

"Mufida."Haidar called out to her, softly. She sniffled back the tears and turned her head to him with a fake smile. "Please don't cry, we will find a way out In sha Allah, just have faith in the Almighty."

Mufida nodded and was about to say something when Haidar spoke up. "You should've told me the truth since the beginning, Mufida."

Mufida arched his brows at him. "Truth?"She couldn't help but ask. She can't remember hiding anything from him, then what is he talking about.

Haidar handed her the test reports as he had nothing to say to her, she should see it herself instead. Mufida stared at the paper before collecting it from him. Her eyes bulged out as she read through it.

She looked up at Haidar with blurry eyes and said. "What's this Haidar ? Where did you get this from?"

"It doesn't matter where I got it from Mufida, just tell me if it's true or not."

Mufida shook her head at him. "I don't want to talk about this."she was about to open the door when he locked it taking her by surprise.

"Don't leave please, let's settle this first."

Mufida threw the papers at him. "I said I don't want to talk about it why are you forcing me, it brings back exactly what I don't like to remember Haidar, so don't make me."she was at the bridge of crying.

"I'm not trying to force you or anything Mufida, don't take it the wrong way. My father gave this to me, and if we don't prove him wrong he won't agree to this marriage."Haidar tried calming her down.

"You believed him right ? Then why all this?"

"Not completely tho."Haidar replied shaking his head. "That's why I'm asking you this."

"Okay, what do you want to know?"Mufida paused to see if he wishes to say anything when he didn't make any attempt to she Continued. "If it's true or not right ? It's true Haidar, what the test reports says is nothing but the truth."

"What?"Haidar half yelled. He was shocked to the core. "Are you sure about what you're saying Mufida?"

"You don't expect a person who has been brutally abused to be okay after that right ?"At that point a lump of pain blocked her heart. She doesn't like to remember all this, but he is making her do it. "And about the test reports you're holding it has been schemed, I've the original one with me, if you want to have a look then I'll get it for you."

"I'm sorry Mufida, I'm deeply sorry, I had no idea."Haidar apologized and she kept mute ignoring him. "I don't need any test reports to believe what you're saying, I trust you."

That almost melt her heart. "Then why start the topic in the first place Haidar ? I don't think you trust me, and it's for the good if we forget about us in the future, because it's crystal clear that your father doesn't like me."Mufida stared down at her nails as she kept on tracing over the edge of it.

"Look at me Mufida."And she did. "It really doesn't matter if my father likes you or not, he won't be the one to marry you but me, and about all this I'm sorry, it won't be repeated."

Saying sorry is so easy for him. "I don't think so Haidar because I know the reason why your father doesn't want you to marry me, that's what brought about the reports."

Haidar sighed for the umpteenth time, Mufida is making it hard for him. "It's nothing like that."He mumbled not even sure if she heard him or not. He is also trying to make himself believe that's the only reason behind his father's hatred towards Mufida.

"I'm also sorry for shouting at you earlier, I should've understood it's not your fault, you're just doing so to please your father and I respect that."Mufida smiled faintly at him and adjusted her side bag.

"You don't have to Mufida, I'll make sure I find out the person behind this I assure you that."Mufida nodded and looked at Haidar before signaling him to open the door for her. "I'm sorry once again."He added before unlocking the door for her. She hopped out of the car quietly but then stopped like she wanted to say something to him.

"I know you want to know everything Haidar, you ought to know the truth, and I'll tell you everything I promise but this isn't the right time."with that she shut the door and left.

The way she shut the door hard was enough to make Haidar understand that she is still angry with him, he is responsible for adding salt to her wounds.
