~ 3 days after Lee Hoseok gets the number
Izuka Yang's P.O.V."I found a number, Sir, from the list I was given a several weeks ago. I phoned everyone on the list but there was one number I called twice because I thought I recognized the voice. When I called the second time, I traced it the call, it lead towards Chúshī shān. From your last reports, that's towards where Trancy Alois was staying, wasn't it? It's also where you sent Min Suga to when he chased that lead from Trancy. Do you want me to follow this lead for you, Sir?"
The crisp sheet of paper my assistant placed on the desk taunted me. His news particularly concerned me because if my toy wasn't dead, then there was a chance that sneaky bastard, Min Suga, wasn't dead either. The fucking bastard had stolen my Kim Mitzuki - my toy! My patience snapped and I growled at my assistant.
"I will be following up myself since everyone I send alone seems to vanish when they could have an answer for me. Cancel my meetings for this week. Book two rooms in Chúshī shān and organize the helicopter and a car for when we get there. We leave in an hour."
I saw something flicker in my assistant's eyes. Noting it, I put it aside to deal with later. I would question him later during the trip; when he was unprepared for it would be the best time to get truthful answers. Need be, I would take swift action against him if he was withholding information from me about my toy and the thief who stole him; though I already dealt with the accomplice who released my toy without permission. I wish he was alive so I could kill him again. I slammed my fist on the desk in frustration, smirking when my dog flinched at the suddenness.
"Right away, Sir," he agreed readily. He left to make the calls at his desk outside my office. Once the door was firmly closed, I picked up the heavy vase on my desk and revelled in the sound it made as the crystal shattered against the walls of my office.
Smiling grimly I sat down, picked up the (untraceable) landline, and dialled the numbers my assistant had provided me. The phone rang for a while before ringing out. I slammed down the phone in my hand, leaving it there while I fumed. 'How dare he not answer my phone call! This shit cunt knows he has to answer within three rings or I'll punish him! Maybe he wants to be punished? He always did have the prettiest sobs when I made him cry.'
I fumed before calming myself down a little. I tried the number twice more, ringing out both times I became angry, wanting to throw something else or to beat the shit out of something -or someone- to ease my frustrations. 'Once more. If it really is him, he'll answer.' I attempted to pacify myself as I punched in the numbers once more. 'Only this little cunt would have me chase him, he must want to be punished.' I thought gleefully.
Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring.
"What?" A low, gravelly voice grunted on the other end of the phone. I didn't answer, I was listening carefully to the noises in the background, after confirming that I didn't recognize any of the voices I hung up. Looking at the time on the digital screen I saw that I was on the phone for less than ten seconds.
'Good. Less than enough time for even a partial trace, not that they'd get anything, anyway. Definitely going to follow up the lead. I can't have any loose strings or--' A knock on the door interrupted my musing.
"What?" I called out, pissed off at being interrupted.
"Boss? Sir. You have a package to sign for." My assistant sounded a little concerned.
"Why the fuck can't you just sign for them like you usually do?" I growled.
"The courier says they are to be placed into your hands personally, and you alone must sign for them. Specifically." He explained, too calmly.
