"IF IT WEREN'T FOR YOU, MAYBE PEOPLE WOULDN'T SEE ME AS A FUCKING MONSTER!" you yelled. "IF IT WEREN'T FOR YOU, I COULD'VE LIVED A NORMAL FUCKING LIFE."

You swung a slim black sword viciously, it never collided with them, but you still did it- as an act of fury.

"NOW, I'M GOING TO KILL YOU. I'M GOING TO FIX ALL YOUR FUCKING DAMAGE, AND MAYBE THEN THINGS CAN BE OK. MAYBE THEN, THINGS MIGHT BE NORMAL." you continued.

You sent a blast of magic, sending them skidding to the ground.

They lay on their back, blood smeared across their face.

"You're just making yourself more of a monster." they said calmly.

"I don't fucking care what you say anymore. I'm ending everything you've ever accomplished." you hissed, standing over them, blade raised above their chest.

"NO!" a scream rang out.

You hesitated. It was your friend...

Were they telling you to not kill them?

You hesitated for too long.

A sword pierced through your back, ripping through your chest.

Blood spilled out violently.

They rolled away, and you fell to your knees, gripping the blade.

You turned around to see one of their allies.

Your friends, your alliance, your family, stopped in their battle to face you from their various positions. One of them must have seen them approaching.

"You can't kill a god..." you sneered, as your body collapsed, your life force dissipating.

They stared at you, emotionless. They had just temporarily killed the one of the most powerful beings to ever exist, who also happened to be merely a teen.

"I'll be back..." you finished, your eyes shutting.

"AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" you shrieked, sitting bold upright in bed.

Did you like that?

"DID THAT HAPPEN??" you exclaimed, your eyes wide with shock.

Not to you, to a good friend of mine. Maybe one day they'll recruit you... or maybe one of your variants.

"Did you put that in my mind??"

Yeah.

"WHAT THE FUCK?? I actually felt the pain!?!?" you cried angrily, throwing off your bedsheets and getting out of bed.

Mhm, master feat by me, don't you think? Memory projection from one being to an entirely unrelated one!

"D-don't do that again..." you said quietly, walking over to your mirror.

Whatever.

Bill left your mind, and you felt a weight lift from you.

You sighed, staring at your luminous reflection.

You remembered the events of the past night, the fight, and the... less mentionable thing that you would probably never mention, nor have a conversation about with Bill.

He'd be too disgusted to bring it up, let alone mock you about.

You whistled along to the record player, tapping your foot to the beat.
