It's been a while since Jungwon rode a bike. For the first few pedals, he falters— but with the help of his boyfriend who grins at his cuteness and would hold on to him in case he was near to falling off, Jungwon has gotten used to it. Biking away through their small town, going through various small shops and quaint houses, they finally reach the perfect destination in their town. The bridge where many bikers alike or people taking strolls stop and view the beauty of the sunset.
"We're here!" Jungwon exclaims in enthusiasm, his dimples peeking out. Beside him was Jay who was also on his own bicycle, yet the latter neither speeds up nor slows down, always finding his way to match Jungwon's pace. When they got off their bikes, they held the handles of their vehicles and went closer to the railings of the stoned bridge. The advantage they get is that not many people were present. It is a small town they are living in, after all. Only a family of a couple and two little children were in sight, as well as another couple who held hands, and an old man who took slow steps to gaze at the view.
"Wow, we made it just in time," Jay says, hand fixing his hair that has been disrupted by the wind. Thereafter, he also pets Jungwon's hair, straightening them up while the younger leans at his touch. Jungwon nuzzles on his hand like a cat, and Jay softly laughs and his arm coils around Jungwon's waist, placing a loud, smacking kiss on the top of Jungwon's head.
The two stay silent after a little deluge of giggles, their faces gently knocking on each other as if they never want to separate. Jay's arm around Jungwon, while the younger smiles and leans his body close to him. The sun was starting to set.
It's beautiful. Having the view of the seaside and the sun descending to the horizon. Feeling the breeze and each other's warmth, that only fills inside of them. Like they've drank some hot chocolate on a cold, rainy day; or cuddles that seem to make all dull things go away. It's like stepping inside a path filled with greens and heart-shaped stones, similar to that of characters walking to wondrous places in fantasy films. When Jay caresses his thumb against his boyfriend's waist, Jungwon's reminded of the glowing presence beside him.
He doesn't know what he's done, for him to get so lucky. To get Jay— when in the beginning, it seemed rather impossible. If he looks back and thinks he'll get together with his longtime crush, it would have been hazy. It was like looking through a cave: dark, empty, and so, so obscure. But when he steps forward and speaks, an echo bounces back at him.
Jungwon loves Jay. Quite a lot, and nothing unremarkable. He looks forward to seeing him every day, to speaking with him, to holding him in his arms. In the end, all he ever wants is to keep Jay's precious smile, and give the corners of his mouth a chaste peck, maybe.
Before the sun goes any lower, and the clouds get any more vibrant with orange and red, the two lovers are met with unexpected guests. "Hey guys! You two are here, too?" They didn't have to look back to recognize it was Sunghoon's voice, accompanied by Jake's loud gasp of exaggerated surprise.

The trio find themselves at EN- Café like it was back to three years ago where they would hang out during summer or meet after school, except this time, Jay brings his lover along who just so happens to be Jake's little brother. Jungwon orders a cup of yogurt with various toppings that taste undoubtedly delicious, and snaps a picture to send to Sunoo, knowing his best friend might be into it. Jay isn't the type to eat at a café since he's usually a meat guy, but he ends up ordering the same food as Jungwon but with different toppings since the younger told him it tastes nice. As for Sunghoon and Jake, they share a large serving of (what seems to be) waffles with a ridiculous amount of berries and fruits (Jungwon can recognize mangoes, cherries, as well as kiwis and other black and red berry-looking things he can't quite decipher). Beside their plate lie two cups of smoothies, and Jungwon laughs, reasonably amused.
