[REPOST] ~A Bear Above All~ (Funtime Freddy x Reader)

#3: ~His Day~

The next morning you were going to be heading in. Your shifts weren't always the same since the amount of employees fluctuated at times. So you'd take whatever shift was empty and needed someone. And today it was during the morning. Not too early, about 11 or so. You got changed and ready, walking out the door.

The traffic was light, the air was warm. The sky had a bright baby-blue hue to it, a couple clouds here and there. The day had a feel good vibe too it. The place was open today, and the animatronics were performing. You pulled in, looking out at the cars. There weren't a whole lot, but there were plenty which was a good thing.

You stepped out of your car, looking at the building. It was a lot less creepy in the day. You approached the building, walking inside. You were hit with the smells and sounds of the pizzeria. You weren't used to it all since it seemed to just fade off in the night. Or maybe you just never paid any attention to it.

You went into the party rooms. You were supposed to watch one of the animatronics, to monitor them. You suddenly bumped into someone. "Oh shit- sorry." You said as you looked to see who it was. It was your manager, Samantha. "Its fine (Y/N)," She said with a slight chuckle. "I was actually looking for you!" She exclaimed. "What about?" You asked, cocking your head. "Oh, I wanted you to watch Freddy as he performed." She said casually. Your eyes went a little wide, "But..he shouldn't be performi-" "No, no. Its fine! Now go on." She said blowing you off. She shooed you off towards the party room. You sighed as you walked in the direction she wanted you to go.

You entered the room. No one was in there yet, as they were still getting him ready. He was center stage, staring straight forward. You walked to a table off to the side. You sat down at the table, settling yourself. You were going to be there for a bit. And now you just had to wait.

The curtains closed, now allowing customers to come in. There were a few people who came in, then a lot. Part of you was nervous, he really wasn't supposed to be performing. He was still dangerous. But there was nothing you could really do about it, except monitor him of course. There was always part of you that worried about him. You didn't know him very well, not many did. So it was never clear what his motives and intentions were. Soon enough, the curtains reopened, and he performed. Your attention was on him the whole time. Part of you was strangely mesmerized.

After a while more people cycled through the room. Some came, some left, some stayed a little longer than others. You felt yourself zone out. He wasn't causing any problems, and was doing pretty well. Before you knew it, he was staring at you again. But you couldn't look away, your gaze was locked with his. You hadn't noticed that everyone else left already. You could feel his gaze burning right through you. But you just...

Couldn't. Look. Away.

"(Y/N)?" You blinked, looking at the source of the sound. You saw Samantha at the doorway. "What are you doing? Your shifts over." She asked confused. "Uhh...I got distracted..." You said, standing up from your chair. Freddy was looking back center like before. You tried to ignore what just took place. You walked over to Samantha, out of the room. "I'll see you tomorrow (Y/N)." She said, waving you off as you left.

You left the building heading out to your car. You stepped in, and drove off. The day was slowly ending, not really dark but a bit more purple in the sky. Once you got home you sat down on the edge of your bed. Your mind wandered back to what happened earlier. 'What even was that?' you thought. You continued to ponder on how you got stuck in that situation, why you couldn't just look away? You sighed, putting your face into your hands. 'Maybe I should just take a nap...' You thought, laying down in the bed. Today wasn't bad, but it was...strange.
