A couple days later and things were seeming pretty peachy so far. You currently weren't working on the night shift since new employees were coming in and some shifts had to be left open for those who may have wanted them.

You were also finding yourself back in Freddy's room again, supervising or whatever Samantha was trying to get you to do. As long as you were in the rooms and around the ones you knew were safe, you didn't mind any of this.

Ethan brushed by you, busily working alongside you and Amber. You three were in a very similar place of expertise, so you decided to all stick together. You hadn't really bonded with them that much originally, but something must've clicked since you found yourself more willing to approach them.

So yeah, things were running smoothly so far. New faces coming in the afternoons for the nightshifts, business was having a strange rise all of a sudden, everything was going really well. And you were going to relish it as humbly as you could. So far you knew how simple it was to accidentally jinx yourself and everything else by being a little too confrontational about how good things were going. Even if you weren't necessarily superstitious, being cautious made you feel a little safer.

Soon enough, you were on break. Finally able to relax for a moment. You were sitting in Freddy's party room, which was mostly empty at this time.

After a few moments, everything settled and you were completely alone in there with Freddy. You looked up at the bear, his eyes down-turned to look at you. Man he was good at being discreet, you hadn't even noticed 'til just then.

Hopefully, all of this place's problems could be put in the past, and he seemed to want that as much as you did. His internal redesigns were still being planned for the future, but it was estimated it would only be a week before you'd get to really look in there and start tinkering with stuff.

You trusted Freddy wouldn't have that much of a problem with it, after all he trusted you, right?

You slumped over the table a little as you thought. He was set to perform tomorrow, and you were going to be the one helping him get ready. It was going to be a long day for him, so you were going to hopefully try and get him in his best mood for the day.

Here's hope that all goes well, you thought.

Here's hope that things can go back to being normal.
