[REPOST] ~A Bear Above All~ (Funtime Freddy x Reader)

#7: ~Our Secret~

It was another evening as it always was. You were sitting on your bed on your phone. It was close to time for you to get ready by now. You pulled yourself to your feet, stretching. 'Let's see what's in store for today..'  You thought. You started on getting ready, thinking about what might happen today. You finished up, and left. You went out side to your car, getting in. 

As you drove, you noticed the same sight as usual. It was a cloudy night, a bit breezy. A calm night, hopefully foreshadowing what was to come. It almost never did, but you could hope, couldn't you? The uncertainty of the day ahead made the short drive feel longer than usual. 

You finally arrived at the pizzeria, stepping out of your car, and heading inside. You really didn't have much you needed to do. You decided to take a quick round around the building, checking to make sure evrything was in order up there. After that, you finally went to the elevator, getting in. As you descended, you continued to think about stuff. What was Fredy's plan today? What would happen if you decided not to visit him in the breaker room? Would he be mad? Stop caring about you? You sighed as you'd finally gotten to the underground part of the building.

You walked out into the control room. You glanced around, before heading into Ballora gallery. You headed to the breaker room, with a normal, neutral pace. You approached the door, no hesitance when entering. You needed to trust him, and he'd trust you in return. You closed the door behind you, or more of stopping it from slamming on you. You turned around, Freddy was sitting on the corner of his stage, facing away from you. 

"Uh...Freddy?" You said. He looked up, then turned his head to look at you. There was subtle surprise on his face. He beckoned you over without a word. You obeyed, walking over and sitting beside him on the stage just like yesterday. He turned his body to face you.  His artificial grin making his appearance a little unsettling in the dark. "I actually wanted to talk to you about something." He said in an unnessacarily cheery tone. "Uh, well sure...go ahead." You said hesitantly in response. 

He leaned towards you, "I want you to understand that no one- NO ONE should know about this." He said, with a much more serious tone. You were about to say something, but he kept speaking. "This thing between us is our secret. You're the only person here that hasn't been cruel to me." He stated. "If you can keep it...Then I'll let you help me." He finished. You nodded. "I promise." You said confidently. 

It honestly felt like a deal between the two of you: you keep him company, and he leaves you out of his aggressions.  He looked like he wanted to say more, but he didn't. At least not at first, "(Y/N), you're scared of me...aren't you..?" He said. You looked away, then back at him. "Well...not as much..." You muttered. His expression was flat as he looked at you, giving a slight nod. You wondered what that could've meant for him. You also wondered how close you might get with him. 

He looked at you again. "Thank you for coming again~!" He said in his more cheery tone. "Oh, uh..yeah, I assume you want me to come tomorrow as well?" You asked. "Of course I do." He said. He seemed to be trying to change the mood. "Well I will," You said. He nodded at you with a grin. 

Eventually time came for you to leave. Freddy alerted you about it. You got up and told him goodbye. You left the breaker room, going back into the main control room. You went back to the elevator. You thought about Freddy's words. No one... You knew you'd have to hide any trust or even attention towards him around the others. You stepped out of the elevator, and left the pizzeria. You went out to your car and drove back home. 

Once you got home, you decided to eat something before just collapsing into the bed. You were still thinking about it, all of it. Today, Yesterday, everything crossed your mind one at a time. Either everything he's said about this was true... Or it's all an elaborate trap.
