The next day you were back on night shift. You weren't sure if you'd be on night shift for just tonight, or if you were going to be back for the rest of the week. You continued changing and getting ready. You grabbed your flashlight and headed out of the house.

You quickly arrived at the pizzeria. You were anticipating getting there a little heavily, waiting outside to calm down. You weren't going to get too riled up over all of this. You opened the door to the main building and went inside.

As you walked through the building, you thought maybe you should talk to Baby. She could probably help in knowing whatever the hell was going on with Foxy. You quickly headed to the elevator and began your descent.

You crawled out into the main room then into Baby's room. You stood up and looked around the dark area. "I'm over here (Y/N)." A voice spoke. You slightly jumped before realizing it was just Baby. You sighed before walking towards the glowing green eyes in the corner of the room.

"I suppose there's a reason you came in here." She said. You nodded before speaking. "I wanted to ask about Foxy and why he's acting all weird." You said. "Ah..." She sighed. "Well, get comfortable. This won't be very simple." She said.

"So...Foxy is the kind you'd call, 'attention seeking'." She started. "He doesn't care if its good or bad, hardly at all. Just thrilled by the idea of being the center." You nodded as she spoke. "And that comes with rivalry and spite, so that's why Freddy was a target. He wanted to be the one that every one noticed for being out of line since its what gets attention." She continued.

"Oh.." You softly whispered. That actually made sense. "Plus," She said, breaking your train of thought. "He likes toying around with people, we don't know about that however." "So what you're saying is, he's likely to attack me again?" You asked. She nodded.

You looked at the ground as thoughts passed through your head. You'd probably have to figure some way to avoid him then. "Uh- thank you." You said as you started to turn to leave. She nodded again before waving you off as you left.

You crawled out of the room and back into the control room. You crawled into left vent, off to the breaker room now. You looked over at Ballora's stage, she seemed to be completely powered off tonight. You smiled to yourself knowing she was another you could trust. Hopefully, it was only Foxy who was going to be a problem.

You approached the door and pulled it open, entering the flickering room. You swung your flashlight around a bit, footsteps grabbing your attention. He was on the opposite side of the room as his stage. "Freddy?" You called out. He seemed to slightly jump in subtle surprise before turning his head, then turning his body around. He walked back towards you, his walk slower in here, almost a shuffle as he navigated the tiny room.

You approached as well. Freddy started giggling about something. "I thought you would've quit by now! After all of that...I'm surprised you're willing to stay." He said. You got up close to him, looking up to meet his eyes. "Well about that..." You said. He looked at you like he was listening, waiting for your next move politely.

You took in a breath as you placed both hands up on his mauve belly. You slid them around him, your head at his chest as you embraced the metallic bear. He was still nice and warm, a bit comforting to touch. You felt as he reciprocated, wrapping his arms around your small form. "Thank you..." You sighed.

You felt him squeeze, lovingly. His warmth seemed to increase a bit. You smiled as you closed your eyes for a few silent moments. Soon, you pulled from him. He looked down at you with his charming blue eyes. You could tell he wanted you to know that you were welcome, while not being the kind to always say it.

"Its been a long road to this point- or it feels like it at least." You said. He slightly nodded at your words. It felt more natural conversing with him, no longer like you had to watch your words. You could just speak and he'd understand and trust you.

You finally pulled away completely, sitting down onto his stage. He sat down with you, his gaze on you was soft and more attentive. He no longer monitored you like you would just try doing anything. He simply observed you in a more natural manner.

"Yeah that's uh, all I wanted to say." You said with a soft chuckle. Freddy nodded as he seemed to beam at you. You could tell he was more for showing certain things, certain emotions. He communicated in the way he liked, and you understood it.

He was in a different light to you now, he was only dangerous because he didn't know any better, and you were there to help him.

He still needed a few internal redesigns, but for now reprogramming was what needed to be done first.

You ended up doing a few things around the building, tidying up, checking security systems, etc. It felt a like a good successful day. You were about to leave the breaker room since you'd went back after you were finished. As you stood up, Freddy spoke.
"Stay safe." He said.
You smiled.

You really did have someone to trust, and so did Freddy.
