(Nightmare sequence)
_______________________________
You found yourself in an unfamiliar room. You felt like you remembered following someone in here out of curiosity. Freddy had a malfunction or something, at least that seemed to be what you were screaming about when you ran in here.
A door slammed nearby. You couldn't tell where from, whether behind you or what. But it was close enough to make you flinch. It was dark in the room, couldn't even see two feet ahead of yourself.
A sudden blinding light and loud siren blared, as if to prepare for something. You automatically turned to look out what seemed to be a window. Small glimpses of Freddy's figure flashed from the lights.
You couldn't move as hard as you tried. You wanted a better look, or to try to turn off whatever the hell was happening.
'Damn dream logics.' You thought as you sat helplessly. Your vision wasn't too good from everything that was happening so you only knew something went down when a loud sickening clang rung out. You felt yourself physically wince in response.
It happened again and again, wincing every time before you noticed a form behind the window crumple to the ground with a thud.
You weren't sure if you successfully screamed out or not, only noticing that you could finally move as you dashed to the glass window.
Confusion and panic went through you. What happened to Freddy? Was he in an unrepairable state? What was this room? Would you get in trouble? Is it possible you could be framed for damaging him?
Suddenly, someone yanked you back by the collar of your shirt. It made you jump and scream out, waking you up.

(End of nightmare sequence)
You sat up in your bed quickly, panting softly. What was that about? Glancing out the window, it was still dark out. You felt a little dizzy in your head, making you lay back down.
You curled up in your blankets as thoughts whizzed through your mind. You buried your face in a pillow as you tried to calm yourself.
'Just try to get back to sleep...you'll be fine, it was just a dream. It was probably just spelling out your worries you haven't processed yet.' You told yourself.
You really weren't able to settle into your bed. You were worried about Freddy...what if something actually happened to him?
A thought crossed your mind that you immediately shot down as soon as it did. It was a stupid idea...yet why did it come back?
'Oh, fuck it!' You thought, pulling yourself out of bed. You were going to sneak out to the pizzeria, and probably spend the night or something. Might as well do something to make things more entertaining. There wasn't that much to life so you may as well have some fun with it.
You started dressing yourself in something comfortable that wasn't pajamas, but still comfy enough to stay in overnight.
Because of the new employees who were coming in and out, it was very unlikely for any of them to actually recognize you, or even each other just yet for that matter. So you could probably sneak past unsuspected.
You just had to park behind the building so no one noticed your car being there for a prolonged time, and there; that's the plan.
You stepped outside, feeling a cool breeze blow through your hair. You didn't linger in it too long, quickly getting to your car. You didn't want to waste too much time.
It didn't take long to get there, this time of night traffic was scarce thankfully. You stepped out of the car, walking to the building, and entering through a back door.
You discreetly passed a couple of the current employees, thankfully not being noticed in the slightest. You went into Ballora's Gallery to get to the breaker room. You found yourself near sprinting to though the room, forcing yourself to slow down. Calming down your excitement as you stopped outside of the breaker room.
Soon enough you reached your hands out to the door and pulled it open. You slipped in, pulling it closed behind you. You were still facing the door when a voice spoke,
"(Y/N)?"
"Oh, Freddy! There you are." You said after turning to him. He looked confused, scanning your figure as if he was making sure it actually was you. He must've been surprised since he knew your shifts, after all, he was always able to hear even when "powered off".
You noticed his gaze turn to that apprehension, panic almost. Then it hit you: he thought you were here on a "surprise visit", something Samantha had been planning for when the animatronics seemed unwilling to cooperate. He must've thought you were here to work on him.
"Oh-! N-No Freddy, I uh, came here on my own accord." You explained. He cocked his head to the side, both in confusion laced with soft suspicion. You cleared your throat. "I know what you're probably thinking is what I mean, and no, I'm not here to do anything. I snuck out and now I'm here."
His tension seemed to soften in response. "Hm, so why?" He asked. You shrugged. "I just wanted to get out I guess, and was worried about you." You said, getting quieter toward the end.
"And I'm planning to probably spend the night." You added casually. The look in his eyes seemed to change to surprise before going back. "Well, get comfy. I won't stop ya, can't stop ya probably." He said, ending with a chuckle before easing back to his stage.
You followed after, sitting down near him. "So where's that little blanket you had in here?" You asked. He chuckled with what was as close to a shrug as he could manage. "Not mine so, not sure where it went. Ballora took back after you left." He said.
"Oh, well then." You said. Freddy seemed to chuckle some more.
"Why not come a little closer then, if you're cold." He mused, sitting back and opening his arms for you to snuggle into him. You scooted beside him, resting your head into his chest to be met with warm arms around you.
Emanating the same warmth, as usual, Freddy seemed to be fully content like this. You couldn't help but think about just how scared you were of him, how badly you wished he would just be dismantled already so he could be remade into something tamer.
This monstrous robot you were so frightened of was just trying to defend himself. That's all, he didn't know anyone would've actually cared about his feelings. Anyone would give the time of day to help him calm down. You smiled to yourself.
He wasn't a threat, just scared. He wanted to be loved but was shown the opposite and reacted accordingly. You found yourself rubbing your hand along his purple belly, around his speaker as you thought.
You felt his chin brush against the top of your head as he rested it against you. It wasn't very long before you settled and started to feel sleepy. You yawned and snuggled in more, starting to drift off.
Just before sleep claimed you though, a metallic muzzle pressed itself to your forehead as you were pulled in ever so slightly more.
