Chapter 18: Isolated
It's hot. The morning is windy and yet she feels suffocated. Georgia woke up due to the arms snaked around her waist. Marahan niyang iminulat ang kaniyang mga mata ngunit ganoon na lamang siya nabigla nang mapagtantong wala siya sa kaniyang silid. Holy crap, she is the Emperor's room!
He was hugging her tightly, para bang tatakas siya anumang oras. Gusto niyang mag-panic nang maalala ang ginawa nito kagabi sa kaniya ngunit pinili niyang kumalma upang hindi ito magising. She slowly checked herself and she felt relief when she was still whole. Oh god, he did not do anything to her! Aside from scaring her yesterday until she passed out, he did nothing.
But why did they end up this way? Nakayap ito sa kaniya habang siya'y nakatalikod rito. She slowly moved away to escape but she was shocked of her state. Naka-posas siya! Akma na siyang mag-rereact nang magising si Alaric.
"And where the fuck do you think you're going?" Sabi nito sa mababang tinig.
Nagtagis ang bagang ni Georgia. "Let me go, now!"
Ngumisi si Alaric. "You know you can't assert dominance against me, Georgia." Sabi nito at nag-unat para tuluyang gisingin ang sarili.
Nagsimula na namang mamuo ang mga luha ni Georgia. Literal na natanggal ang angas niya nang maalala ang pagkahimatay niya kagabi. "Please let me go! At least let my friends leave!"
"Para ano, Georgia?" Sabi nito at bumangon.
Naupo si Georgia sa kama. "Para huwag nilang malaman na ganito ka, Alaric!"
Alaric's eyes narrowed. "No, they should know. They deserve to know. They should fucking know the reason why they can't fucking touch you, why they can't kiss you, and why they can't hold you! Do you understand?"
Georgia started panicking again. May trauma na siya kapag nati-trigger si Alaric. Kung ano-ano na kasing ginagawa nitong nakakatakot, baka hindi niya kayanin.
"Alaric, please calm down..." Sabi niya habang tahimik na nanginginig.
Alaric crawled at the bed towards her and she trembled. "Because only I can do it! Ako lang ang pwedeng gumawa noon sa'yo, 'di ba? Tama ako 'di ba, Georgia?"
Napapikit na si Georgia sa kaba. "Alaric..."
It's too early in the morning and they're fighting like this. Sana talaga ay walang pumasok sa kwarto ni Alaric kahit na servant. Her situation is embarrassing to her friends, laughable to her foes, and pitiful to the servants. Tangina nitong si Alaric e, hindi mabasa-basa kung anong nasa isip.
Hinaplos ni Alaric ang kaniyang pisngi and Georgia flinched. Alaric smirked. "They should know every single thing, Georgia. They should know you're mine, they should know I own you. You're under my name, you're under my roof, so you're my property now and they can't have any rights on you unless I permit! And you know I won't. I will never."
When did things go wrong? They're not like this before, halos hindi nga sila magpansinan noon. Hanggang sa nagayuma si Alaric, pero bakit humantong sa ganito? He should be chasing his concubine instead, but why is he all over her now? For punishment? Damn, this is hell for her. Hindi na maintindihan ni Georgia kung ano'ng nangyari at bakit bigla na lang na-obessed sa kaniya si Alaric.
"You're crazy! I was wrong about you!" She screamed. Wala na s'yang pake kung may makarinig. "Please let me go, let me go! Hindi na kita kilala, hindi ikaw ang Alaric na kilala ko! Pakawalan mo ako!"
Alaric gripped her jaw. "Bakit, Georgia? Ano ang Alaric na kilala mo?"
"Please stop," halos umiyak na si Georgia. "Or if you can't because you're crazy then at least spare my friends."
