how so?
you run away from everything while everyone is facing their own monsters? that's such bullshit. they should have shame for leaving people just like that. it's as if the person never really cared for the ones around him in the first place.

what?
he did care. that's why he ran away. you think that it's just because he didn't want to face his issues or he couldn't take it anymore but it's not just that. running away is more than just that. he cared for everyone so much that he felt that him being there was worthless, that him being there did nothing significant to the people around him and so he wanted to show his affection through the only way he felt and knew he can: running away.
for you, running away is cowardly. for him, it is probably the bravest thing he has ever done.
