The End of the Galaxy?

Their surroundings seemed to change almost instantly as the four of them all tumbled through the rift. They all tried to remain in the air, but it was as if they were being dragged downward. The four of them touched down on a crystal platform. There was no solid ground all around, only floating fragments of platforms.

They gawked as they looked around the place. The sky looked as if it was stained red, pink, and purple. What was supposed to be dark blues of space were instead pinkish-reds.

"Where are we?" Mario asked.

"Well, it's not the Mirror World." Mr.L stated, looking around, "So we're probably in the right place."

"Ohhh... I hope little Dimmy made it back to his galaxy okay..." Timpani murmured, looking down at her feet.

Blumiere walked up to her and gave her a hug.

"I'm sure he's alright, dear." Blumiere replied, "But for now, we need to focus on OUR Dimentio."

Timpani looked up at her husband and then smiled, nodding in response.

"You're right, Blumi," Timpani said.

Blumiere smiled back at her before glancing around.

"Now we just need to find the others..." Blumiere murmured.

"Guys! Guys! I found one of them!" Mario quickly exclaimed.

Timpani, Blumiere, and Mr.L all looked over at Mario, who was frantically waving them over. The three of them rushed to the Warrior in red and gasped. Buried in the ground was a large crystal that was the color red, familiar in shape, but they couldn't remember from where.

Inside of the large crystal was O'Chunks himself. He looked to be asleep standing upright, but also in pain. His skin color seemed to be drained, an almost pasty grey.

"O'Chunks!" Timpani exclaimed.

"Can we get him out?" Mario asked.

"Hey, guys!" Mr.L called out.

They looked over at Mr.L, who was pointing to another large crystal. This one was colored green.

"Mimikins!" Blumiere exclaimed, rushing over.

The four of them looked inside and sure enough, it was Mimi. She looked to be in the exact same coma-like drained state as O'Chunks.

"What is wrong with them..?" Mario asked.

"Where's Nastasia?!" Blumiere worried out loud.

He quickly spun around, his eyes darting everywhere until he caught sight of an aqua blue crystal. Nastasia was inside of it, her glasses cracked and her skin deathly pale.

"Oh no..." Blumiere murmured, "A-are they-?!"

"I don't think they're dead, dear..." Timpani interrupted, "But I don't know how to describe this..."

Blumiere gasped in realization.

"These crystals... Th-they're identical to the one Dimentio was trapped inside when Count Bleck had discovered him!" Blumiere exclaimed, "B-but... He wasn't knocked out like they are..."

Mario glanced to the side of them and caught a glimpse of another green crystal. The Warrior in red gasped and started directly for it.

"Luigi!!!" Mario called out.

Mario bolted directly towards the crystal while the other three remained behind, glancing around.

"Wait a minute... If they're all trapped in crystals, where is Dimentio?" Mr.L questioned.
