Slowly opening my eyes, I jolted back when I saw a face right in front of mine. Killer Bee was staring me down with his fists on his hips while bent over to have his face level with mine. He just continued to look at me as I sat on the grassy spot in front of the waterfall.

He then stood up, rubbed his chin, hummed, and finally began to walk away. My brows furrowed as I watched him go, not having a clue what he was thinking nor why he was even there.

Was he checking to see how I did facing my inner self?

"You got it on the first try? That's not fair." Naruto pouted with his arms crossed as we were following Killer Bee through the forest.

"I'm just more honest with myself, unlike you, ya people pleaser." I popped off.

  "You mean I'm nicer."

"In a way." I said, and Killer Bee walked right through the waterfall.

"....So there's a cave on the other side." Naruto muttered while looking at the rushing water. We exchanged glances before we walked through the waterfall.

On the other side was a vast cavern with what looked like a temple with three towers and headless statues. On the farthest wall was a mural of tentacles from the Hachibi, and openings letting water fall through. From the outside, one would never have guessed this was on the inside.

  "Wow...."

"You'll fight the Kyuubi here, and you the wolf." Bee pointed to the towers.

  "Fight the Kyuubi?"

  "That's right, you dumbass phony."

"This is magnificent!" Yamato said in awe behind us as he looked around.

"Follow me." Bee walked on, and the more I looked around, the more tailed beasts I saw on the walls.

"It looks like an ancient ruin. They look archeologically important. Could use some restoration, though."

"No. Those stone statues were deliberately made without heads." Bee stated. "There's a reason for that."

"You said I'll fight the Kyuubi here, and Sayuri the wolf. But how?" Naruto asked, and I turned around while walking to look at more of the mural. The 9 main Bijuu were all there, but Ginko wasn't at all.

"I hope you're not going to do anything too rash."

"Don't think you can control the beast unless you do something rash, you dumbass phony. This is a sacred place where those who have been chosen as Jinchuuriki have undergone purification rituals. There's a system that allows interactions with the Bijuu in this area. It's inside this building. Roger." Bee waved his hand at the tall tower in front of us.

  "This is...."

"Only a chosen few can enter here. Selection. You put your head inside this statue's mouth. Good guy. If you have no darkness in your heart, the doors will open. Wide-open."

"Um, can you explain this as simply as possible? It's kind of hard to grasp."

"'If you have no darkness in your heart'. So that's what the waterfall was about." Naruto muttered.

"But if you have even a tiny bit of darkness in your heart, the door won't open. Get it? Instead, the statue bites your head off. Accept it!" Bee turned to look at us. "The statues on our way here were actually Jinchuuriki. Truth!"

"Is there another way without the head-chopping?" I questioned while putting my hands on my hips.

"No." Bee crossed his arms, and Naruto stepped forward.
