A splendidly decorated room, perfect for the wedding night. Ishita looked around constantly, the transformation from just dushyant's bedroom to a literal to a magical dreamscape created here, was drastic to say the least. the pink fairylights though, made ishita wonder if purvi went a little bit over the top, but the intention behind the gesture was too sweet for her to complain. the door opened, when ishita realised her veil wasn't up, but she didn't bother, it was just dushyant, his gleeful smile when his gaze fell on her, was assuring enough.
"kavin mujhse neg lekar gaya hai abhi..." informed dushyant, still attempting to comprehend the event that just took place, but his cluelessness was just so cute, she couldn't help but chuckle.
"kya?" asked ishita, still chuckling, as dushyant just shrugged his shoulders.
"well, atleast you laughed...." remarked dushyant, as ishita just shook her head in disbelief, still smiling, when dushyant came and sat next to her on the bed.
He slid a strand of her hair behind her ear, his gaze, full of love, the kind every girl would want on herself, when he stroked her cheek lovingly, as she closed her eyes, feeling the touch of his thumb, when he leaned in to kiss her. she got closer to him, wrapping her arms around his neck, as he unhooked her blouse, and made her lie down, getting on top.
The kiss got intense pretty soon, her lehenga already way above her thigh, it was time for penetration, but there was a tiny problem...
"kya hua?" asked ishita with her pounding breath, as dushyant was confused himself, a classic case of erectile dysfunction.
"i don't know..." replied dushyant, embarrassed, not knowing what to do. ishita sat up by this time, awkward, trying to figure out what to say, as she had a slight chuckle on her face.
"it's ok..uhmm, tum thake hue ho....bahaut lamba function ho gaya, it's already late...we just, need to rest...it happens..." assured ishita, attempting to be reasonable yet understanding, dushyant though, remained unconvinced.
"uh-huh..." replied dushyant, with utter disbelief, as ishita, now standing on her knees on the bed, lovingly wrapped her arms around him.
"arre baba, it was just so stressful, and you had to work too..literally shaadi ke do ghante pehle free hue...aur phir tumhari chachi aur mami ka matter bhi tumhe baarat mein hi solve karna padha literally..." recounted ishita, making him chuckle, as she did too.
"you are right, of course..yahi baat hogi..." responded dushyant, convinced somewhat with what ishita said.
"well, uhhm, ab hamari shaadi ho hi gayi hai, toh you should know this...i'm always going to be right....so..." teased ishita, making tiny circles with her thumb across his chest, as dushyant gave her a look, as if saying, 'oh really', to which she just nodded, trying to hold her laughter, as dushyant too played along, nodding in response, trying to hold his laughter in too.

a dark room, only source of light coming through the huge window on the right side of the bed, as purvi, who was lying on it, took another turn to face the window, the shadows of the railings of the window crept up on her face, when she felt the palm of her mother on her shoulder.
"yakeen nahi hota, papa sahi the..." stated purvi,disappointed, hurt, as neelu took a long sigh at her response.
"beta, tum uski bhi situation samjho..." attempted neelu to calm her down, as purvi turned to her, infuriated.
"maa, woh aapse aise baat kar rahi thi, jaise aapne kabhi savita aunty se baat ki hoti jab unhone koi cup tod diya ho!" exclaimed purvi her frustration.
"purvi, please, don't make me feel so disappointed in you...i have worked very hard to raise both of you to not be like sameer. Aur woh ab savita aunty nahi hai...woh meri sambdhan hai...tumhari bhai ki saas hai...yeh hum sab ke liye mushkil waqt hai, par humein yeh nahi bhulna chahiye, ki tumhare bhai ki biwi ishita hai, chahe hum joh bhi sochein uske baarein mein...hum tumhare bhai ke moh, usse woh izzat denge." explained neelu, as purvi looked away still not somewhat convinced.
"maa...usne kyun ki aapse iss tarah baat? aur iss sab mein hamara khaandan kaise aa gaya!" exclaimed purvi, as neelu glared at purvi.
"tum bhi toh iss baat ko savita ji se jod rahi ho...." replied neelu bluntly, as purvi couldn't help but feel guilty for her mistake.

sameer and meghna had been staring at the bucket for quite a while now, but there was no decision yet, it was only when the door opened, the same man again, when a scream came. sameer turned in shock, it was meghna, she threw the acid on dushyant's groin. sameer, enraged, pushed her away and took the bucket from her to throw the acid on kavin's legs, as he too let out a loud scream, meghna, infuriated, went ahead to snatch the bucket from sameer, who just won't give it up, until they both realised that they both were fighting for only one drop of the acid that was left in the bucket, which they only did cause it fell on the floor, when the bucket slipped from their hands, at the sound of a gunshot. they looked in horror, as the man was shot in front of them.
no one came inside, or in fact picked up the deadbody, let alone anyone who would have actually locked the door again. sameer and meghna looked at each other, terrified.
"iss baalti mein acid hai...tumhe bas ek seedha-seedha kaam karna hai, aur joh ladka tumhare saamne behosh hai, uspe daalna hai...jisne zyaada acid phenka, uska ladka, chod diya jayega..aur dusra, marr jayega..."
the words echoed in their minds, as meghna looked at kavin and sameer at dushyant, before they both looked back at each other again, but their feet were already pointing to the door, no one wanted to be left behind, and no one was ready to back down....but only one was going to make it out alive, right?
