The long drive had started to get to purvi, she was starting to reach a point of exhaustion, as neelu could tell seeing her eyes continuously blinking, trying hard to stay on the road. She looked to ishita in the backseat, her glance fixed outside the window, she couldn't help but wonder if she was any more fit either, considering she might have not ate anything so far today. she looked back at the front, wondering what to do next, but who knew that in the blink of an eye, a mammoth sized truck would come in front of them, not seeming to stop.

the man let go of dushyant and kavin, that's when meghna realised, none of their limbs or hands were tied, making her perplexed about their inability to do anything in response for their defense. the man left, banging the door shut, as sameer looked carefully, lifting kavin's pant, as he was near him, the whole skin around his ankle was burnt and swollen, but before he could process the sheer horror out of it, meghna noticed dushyant's arms, his shoulders were completely dislocated from both of his arms. meghna and sameer exchanged glances of sheer terror, enough for them to know, what the other saw. but maybe the scary part was, how worse were things ahead?

the car was stopped on the highway itself, parked to the corner, such that it was nearly at the footpath. purvi, tried to medicate her head wound, which she got from hitting her head on the steering wheel, the sudden brake that saved their lives. ishita, was glaring at purvi this point, as if she might kill purvi, if she got a chance, which neelu noticed.

"hum koi hotel dhoond lete hain paas mein, wahan aaram karte hain...aur tum drive karo ab.." instructed neelu, as ishita scoffed.

"ismein kuch funny hai?" questioned neelu, her voice slightly raised,  a bit alarming to say the least.

"aap kyun kar rahi hai yeh sab?" questioned ishita back, as neelu was baffled.

"aise toh bilkul mat dekhiye mujhe...yeh sab, aapki wajah se ho raha hai!" yelled ishita, as neelu, utterly disgusted, just looked at purvi, who just pretended to have not heard anything at all.

"dimaag thikane pe hai tumhara!" screamed neelu, as ishita looked at her with disbelief.

"kitna drama karogi tum, huh? tum apne bete ya apne damaad ki jaan bachane nahi aayi ho, tum apne matlab ke liye aayi ho!" exclaimed ishita, as even purvi felt this was way out of line.

"ishita, tum kaisi baatein kar rahi ho! dekho, main samajh sakti hoon, tumhare liye yeh mushkil samaye hai, par tum maa se iss tarah baat nahi kar sakti!" defended purvi, her mother, as ishita just let out a mocking laughter, crossing her arms.

"purvi, tumhara bas baap hi ek number ka haraamzada nahi hai! uske haraam pe aish karne ke alawaa tumhari maa ne khudh bahaut aise kaam kiye hain ki usse bhi sharam aa jayein!" screamed ishita, as purvi just slapped her, tears in her eyes, a fixed glare on ishita.

"aukaat kya thi tumhari? naukrani ki beti thi tum, ghar mein ek pankha nahi chalta tha dhang se, humne, tumhe izzat di, tumhe mere bhai ki biwi banne diya...tumhe apni tarah rakha, society mein koi standing di tumhe! tumhari maa tumhari ek do kaudi ke chudiwaale se tumhari shaadi karane waali thi! hamare hi sarr pe chadne ki himmat aa gayi hai ab tum mein!" blurted out purvi, with utmost of bitterness and anger, making ishita infuriated.

"tum logon ke ghar mein AC hain, usse koi izzat nahi mil jaati! tum log jitne gire hue ho, apna thuk bhi na waste karoon main tum par." stated ishita bluntly, taking out her bag from the trunk of the car, and walking away on the foot path.

sameer and meghna, couldn't help but take their eyes off their children, every time they looked at them, but they had to, they needed to see that their belief would be confirmed and that they both would be fine, but there was nothing but darkness of despair in that room, until a light of terror was bought in, when the door opened, and here was the man again.

"dekho, dekho, please, mere bete ko kuch mat karna hai, joh bhi karna hai mere saath karlo please..." requested sameer, and but meghna rather stared at the man with rage, how dare he do this to her son, but clearly, not even remotely afraid of her, he just grabbed her by her hair, in one push, releasing her off the nylon wires she was tied to, and threw her on dushyant's deadbody.

she got up immediately, about to attack him, when he kept a bucket in front of her, the lid of which was closed, she looked at him quizically, but he did the same thing with sameer, but throwing him in front of kavin instead, with no new bucket for him.

"iss baalti mein acid hai...tumhe bas ek seedha-seedha kaam karna hai, aur joh ladka tumhare saamne behosh hai, uspe daalna hai...jisne zyaada acid phenka, uska ladka, chod diya jayega..aur dusra, marr jayega..." he instructed, as meghna and sameer exchanged glances.

"dekho, meri baat suno..yeh..." attempted sameer to sort this out.

"5 minute hain...sochlo...warna, dono ke bache marenge..." declined the man sameeer's request immediately, leaving both of them with a dilemma, as they looked at their respective son's condition, but sameer couldn't help but wonder, how could he have chosen between making his daughter a widow or killing his own son?
