Kavin entered an empty room, nothing left around but a wall that was painted yellow, now had impulsively painted white color on it. He walked closer, only to find a half image of a butterfly that was painted on it before. He looked around, and remembered a craddle placed right in front of him, along with a lot of toys...It had become a distant memory, a painful reminder of the past. Purvi entered the room, bringing kavin's attention to her with a single knock, as she glared at him.

"yeh room ab nahi kholna hai..." instructed purvi bluntly, a stern glare she had fixed on kavin, as he understood what was really hurting her behind the coldness.

kavin walked to her, placing a hand on purvi's face, caressing her face lovingly, as she looked down, brushing it off. she distanced herself from him, not facing him anymore, as he sighed in discomfort.

"purvi, i know tum par abhi kya beet rahi hai...." attempted kavin to express his repent, but purvi soon intervened.

"everyone told me, i'm making a mistake by marrying you...i  didn't believe them, i believed in our love, i believed in you...and now looking at you only makes me resent you. because of you, i'll never know my unborn child....it had to die with no fault of it's own...because of you, i'll only remember by my parents as the worst version of them..and because of you, i am not even myself anymore...i cannot ever, love you again..." narrated purvi bluntly, the coldness only making it rougher for kavin, as she didn't even look at him before walking away. It seemed like his heart had been ripped off from him.

sameer drove the car with his empty eyes fixed on the long road, not wanting to go home, but not knowing where to go either. Neelu looked outside the window from the passenger's seat, as she had nothing but cold indifference in her eyes. Sameer looked at neelu once, looking for answers, trying to figure out the mess that had unfolded in front of them.

"tumhe kaise pata chala harman ke baarein mein?" interrogated sameer, as neelu didn't seemed to eager to respond, not even looking at him.

"tumhare phone se uska number liya, phir pata chala ki woh namtej ki beti hai...uske bhai ne suicide karliya tha uske papa ki maut ke baad, usse badla chahiye hai tha, dusre families ke beton ki tarah...woh toh taiyaar the kavin ko pakadte hi maarne ko, but she wasn't satisfied with that, she wanted them to suffer and be destroyed completely, like her family was...but you know that, and you were simply trying to keep them away from purvi and kavin..." explained neelu, as sameer just felt astonished to hear her unforgivably casual tone narrating this.

"why did you do it?" questioned sameer, with an urge to know the answer to this question that was unshakeable.

"i never made a big deal out of purvi marrying kavin, he seemed to be fine financially and purvi didn't have to attach her name with him and live with what he had to live through...but when she didn't listen to me about how stupid it is to literally let her child grow up with his name, i had to teach her a lesson...so, i became an accomplice for harman...i let her torture them in ways that they would have to realise what a mistake this relationship was. we planned to kill kavin in front of his mother and purvi, before killing off meghna, as purvi would be left with no trace of any associations with this family. she would start fresh, and marry someone from our community, someone who would be right for her and whose name won't be too shameful for her child." confessed neelu, with nothing but bluntness.

"tum hamare hi bete ki jaan khatre mein kaise daal sakti thi?" questioned sameer.

"he supported them, he deserved it too...ishita would have learnt a lesson too, she was better off marrying that driver's son her mother looked for her." replied neelu cruelly, stating it as a matter-of-fact, her own son's death being nothing but collateral damage for her.

"phir yeh sab joh aage hua...." attempted sameer to comprehend, as neelu now finally looked at him.

"harman hawaa mein udne lagi, usne aisa drama kiya ki mujhe laga usne kavin aur dushyant ko maar diya hai, and tumhe bhi gayab kardiya! then, when i find out, it was all yet another one of her mind games...i figured she needed to learn a lesson, so i thought, i'll take ishita and purvi along with me, she already had killed of every one else's son, she had no one left, and she knew i was after her...i just needed to get rid of her, i thought i'll take of the rest myself...but, she revealed the plan to ishita and..." revealed neelu, and sameer just sighed in disgust, as neelu had an accusatory glare at him.

"don't you dare pretend you have some moral ground from me..you were worse..." accused neelu, as sameer didn't even bother looking at her, scoffed and shook his head.

"i was protecting our children, you destroyed them so bad, they probably wish they were dead.." stated sameer, as they both looked at the road ahead, nothing but blank stares of despair for what lied ahead.
