The Control Room
On a ledge a fair distance from the most dangerous place on Delta Halo, The Arbiter and Noble Six stood beside Rtas 'Vadum's Wraith.
Aris: Is that what I think it is?
Athena: Yup. That my friends, is Halo's control room.
Rtas: The start of the Great Journey.
Thel 'Vadamee and Aris-B333 heard a voice, the voice of the Gravemind. . .
There is still time to stop the key from turning. . .
Arbiter: I must get inside.
Rtas: Then mount up Arbiter. I know a way to break those doors.
The Ultra Elite descended from the cockpit, presenting the unlikely duo with a Wraith. The Arbiter and Spartan glanced to one another. . .
Aris: Can I drive-
Arbiter: No.
Aris: (Sighs) Lame.
Half-jaw and the Arbiter wasted no time, the former commandeering a nearby Spectre as the Blade of the Covenant entered the Wraith.
Rtas: Demon, mount the turret. I hope your reputation is to be believed.
Aris: I'll be sure to not disappoint.
Six held up his Rocket Launcher whilst climbing onto the Spectre's rear end, his Brute Shot attached to his back.
Rtas: Follow us, Arbiter.
The Spectre blasted off, the Spartan nearly falling off as it zoomed into a canyon!
Aris: Woah! This thing really moves!
They swerved between hills, Brute Ghosts appearing on the far side of the canyon! The Spartan fired rockets ahead, hitting one Ghost head on and turning it to scraps! The second explosive landed behind the second Ghost and propelled it into the air! Rtas hit the boost, the Spectre flying forward and ramming into the enemy vehicle! The Ghost exploded as the Elite drifted with the Spectre as two more Ghost zoomed past them! Rtas gave chase, Aris firing the plasma cannon and drilling through one with a relentless stream of plasma! The other Ghost tried to swerve around a rock, only for a mortar to blow it to pieces! The Arbiter rolled up in his Wraith right as an enemy Wraith closed in!
The Spectre veered away from the battle, the Arbiter hitting the enemy first and boosting into it, the nose of his tank battering the Brute Wraith! Thel fired a mortar point blank, damaging his own Wraith and obliterating the enemy tank!
