Hello readers! Sorry this chapter is quite short as I am currently writing this before I exceed the maximum of 3 days of not posting and I got it done yay!
Anyway on with the story...

"There have been over a hundred deaths in our organisation alone. I hate to admit it, but if that tool, Dazai, hadn't neutralised the curse, we would have had ten times the casualties." Chuuya said as I rolled my eyes.

"I have no face to show to the previous bosses." Mori-san said as no body answered, the only sound was the soft muttering exchanged between the people taking care of the dead bodies.

However, the sound of the doors sliding open made me perk up as a familiar person walked in, folding her umbrella.

"Kouyou-kun." Mori-san said, equally surprised as the rest of us.

"Dazai kicked me out of the Agency office, saying that he no need for a useless prisoner. He even had me running errands in exchange for my stay." Kouyou said as she grabbed a small envelope from the sleeve of her kimono.

"This is from the boss of the Detective Agency. An invitation to tea, it seems." Kouyou said as Mori-san raised an eyebrow.

"Oh? So that's the hand he's chosen to play." Mori-san said as he took the envelope.

Chuuya and I exchanged glances before Mori-san walked off, Chuuya following behind.

"Hey, nee-san. Did you tell Dazai-san just how amazing I am?" I asked as soon as the elevator doors closed, leaving me and Kouyou alone.

Kouyou scoffed as she turned on her heel.

"Nee-san!" I whined as I followed her.

"Why do you insist on calling me that?" Kouyou muttered out as I giggled.

"Might as well, you took care of me." I said cheerfully as Kouyou scoffed.

"Dazai was the one who trained you and all." Kouyou said as the smile fell off my face in an instant.

"My new subordinate is much better than you."

"But you were the one who took care of me and Chuuya, I owe it to you." I said as happily as I could but it was plain obvious that it was forced.

Kouyou just rolled her eyes as I kept pestering her.

"So did you tell him?" I asked over and over again as Kouyou rubbed her temples.

"Sometimes I wish that I didn't tolerate this when you were younger. You were much cuter then." Kouyou mumbled as I gasped dramatically.

"Are you saying I'm not cute now?" I asked in exasperation as Kouyou rolled her eyes for like the millionth time.

"You act just as much a child." Kouyou said as I giggled again.

"Ah well, you know what they say. Those who are a child are oblivious to the reality of this world, therefore are happy always!" I said as Kouyou frowned.

"I'm pretty certain you just made that up-" Kouyou started but I shushed her.

"Don't ruin my motto!" I screeched out as Kouyou rolled her eyes, muttering something else under her breathe, which I decided to ignore.

"Work with the Agency?" I repeated, a look of distraught and disgust on my face.

To even think about working with the Agency... with the weretiger... I might as well have been shoved into a coffin if they didn't want me to kill him.

"Please tell me Mori-san refused." I said as Gin nodded with a soft smile on her face.

Honestly, how this sweet girl turned out to be the younger sister of the black beast bastard.

I may not get along with the Akutagawa brother, but the sister was all good.

"No, he refused. But the president of the Agency didn't seem to keen on the truce." Gin added as I sighed in relief.

"Y/n!" A loud voice said, which I instantly recognised as Higuchi as Gin stiffened, already fumbling to put her hair up as I just shook my head at her.

"It's fine, I'll take her away." I said as Gin gave me a grateful look

Leaving Gin, I scampered off, turning the corner to see a certain blonde hair.

"Hey Higuchi." I said as Higuchi didn't reply, making me frown.

"Is something wrong?" I asked as Higuchi stared at me.

"I have a favour to ask you." Higuchi started as I narrowed my eyes at her.

"If this has anything to do with Akutagawa-" I started but suddenly Higuchi fell to her knees, placing her fisted hands on top of her knees.

"Please go help Akutagawa-senpai!" Higuchi pleaded as I stared at her with shock.

"Uh, Higuchi you don't need to-" I started again but Higuchi, being a stubborn, love-blinded human she was shook her head.

"I won't move until you agree to go help him!" Higuchi said as I raised an eyebrow.

"You realise Akutagawa won't like it."

"Not moving!"

"He'll be fine on his own."

"Not moving!"

"If he dies, he dies."

"Not moving!"

"All right, fine!" I huffed out.

"Not movin-" Higuchi started to say but paused as she stared at me with slight disbelief.

"Really?" Higuchi asked as I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, so hurry up and get up." I said as Higuchi finally picked herself off from the ground.

"But I swear, if Akutagawa ends up killing me after finding out that I followed him, I will personally dig myself out of the grave and drag you down to hell with me." I threatened as Higuchi dismissed my threat.

"I thought you would enjoy it anyway." Higuchi said as I half-nodded.

"All right, where is he and what's so dangerous that you have to send me there?" I asked with a dead-panned look on my face.

"Akutagawa-senpai is going to infiltrate the Guild main headquarters." Higuchi started as I instantaneously perked up at the idea of breaking into enemy base.

"He's being sent because he's to stop the descent of the Moby Dick that's actually a bomb set to kill all of Yokohama." Higuchi said as I stared at her a little cautiously.

"This doesn't seem like something you should know... Were you eavesdropping on Mori-san and Akutagawa?" I asked as Higuchi flushed red, flustered that I had caught on how she got the intel.

"Y/n, I just told you that there's going to be a bomb planted in Yokohama and you're worried about how I got this information?" Higuchi said as I shrugged.

"Anyway, I know Akutagawa-senpai is strong enough to handle himself but there's one problem." Higuchi said hesitantly as I raised a brow.

"And that is?" I asked as Higuchi looked at me in the eye.

"Atsushi Nakajima was also sent to the Moby Dick."
