New York... was interesting.
If you went there and saw the millions of people living without a care in the world, you wouldn't even think there would be a world-class dangerous gang living in the midst of the city.
I watched bored, as everyone had there eyes glued on their small little phone of theirs.
"Well this sucks." I announced as I readjusted the bag on shoulder.
"What? Don't know how to fit in with a crowd?" Akutagawa asked in a deadpanned voice that made me scowl.
Clicking my tongue in annoyance, I decided to ignore him as I pulled out my own phone.
"Trying hard to fit in aren't we." Akutagawa commented as I rolled my eyes.
"I'm trying to get us a taxi, emo boy." I snapped in return as Akutagawa looked at me.
"Emo boy?" He asked as I scoffed.
"A fan of emo, especially a person who is overly sensitive, emotional, and full of angst, or who adopts a certain style characterised by dyed black hair, tight t-shirts and skinny jeans, etc. a person who is overly sensitive or emotional." I read online as I smirked looking at Akutagawa.
"Pretty much you without the tight clothes." I said as Akutagawa scowled.
"I am not sensitive."
"Whatever you say, emo boy." I said as I called the taxi before Akutagawa could say something in return.

"Thanks. You can keep the change." I said to the driver who nodded their thanks before driving off.
A cough from behind drew my attention back to Akutagawa.
"See, everyone staring at you thinks your emo." I said as Akutagawa scowled for the millionth time.
"I'm not emo." Akutagawa said, also for the millionth time.
"You know what they say, people who are in denial will forever be clouded by the lies of denial." I said as I walked towards the doors.
"I'm pretty sure you just made that up." Akutagawa mumbled from behind as I smirked.
Walking up to reception, I plastered a fake smile on my face.
"Hi, can I get two rooms?" I asked as the lady nodded.
"Sure! Room for two. How long will you be staying here for?" The lady asked as I glanced at Akutagawa in question.
"Three nights, four days." Akutagawa said gruffly as the lady nodded.
"That'll come to a total of $US2065." The woman said with a smile on her face as I smiled.
"Yeah, we'd like to split that cost between the two of us." I said as I gave Akutagawa a small smile who just rolled his eyes.
