I held my breathe, unable to move as I felt Akutagawa's gaze on me, piercing.

Another second of silence before out lips were already smashed against each others and I wrapped my arms around his neck.

However, not even a moment later there was a loud slamming noise and the door seemed to be wrenched away as I jumped in surprise.

"All right you fuckers, tell me who the murderer is!" A familiar voice made me blink as I poked my head out to see Chuuya, the door in his grip.

When there was no answer, Chuuya swung the door and slammed the soldiers to the side, letting out a huff of frustration before he turned around and let out a small yelp as his eyes landed on us.

I blinked, unsure why his face was so red until I realised what kind of position we must have been in.

Me, practically straddled on Akutagawa, as I immediately leapt out of the small storage room, running my hand through my hair as I let out an awkward laugh.

"Chuuya! Wow, who would've thought to have found you here?" I said sarcastically as Chuuya's look of embarrassment and disbelief turned into a hard glare as he raised a finger at Akutagawa.

"You." He said as he took a threatening step towards Akutagawa.

Akutagawa didn't know what to do as he shoved his hands into his pockets, taking a step away from Chuuya.

I let out a snort before stepping between the two of them.

"All right, enough of that. We can have a nice talk after we find a way to get out of here." I said as Chuuya glared at me.

"Fine. But why the fuck are you even here?" He asked as I shrugged.

"Oh, I don't know. Maybe I thought leaving you alone in a book, without your ability was such a great idea- OF COURSE I CAME HERE TO HELP." I said as I crossed my arms in frustration.

"Could at least say thank you." I muttered as Chuuya let out a sigh.

"You do realise, I was doing perfectly fine on my own." Chuuya said as I looked around the room, staring at the soldiers who lay unmoving on the ground.

"Right.... Cuz your idea is to what? Kill everyone till you're the murderer?" I asked as Chuuya didn't reply as I blanched a little.

"You really..." I trailed off as I started laughing in amusement.

"Ha! You know what that isn't too bad of an idea!" I hummed out as Chuuya glared at me.

"You have any better ideas?" He asked as I paused.

"No..." I admitted as Chuuya grinned in triumph.

"Well then, I guess we can stick to my plan." Chuuya said as I glanced at Akutagawa, who hadn't said a word since Chuuya got here.

"I have no objections." I said as Akutagawa nodded in agreement.

"Plans settled then."

Blood soaked my clothes as I aimed the pistol and shot another oncoming enemy, their body dropping to the floor, lifeless as I blew strands of hair out of my face as I grinned, looking back at the red head.

"Well, this a nice sister-brother bonding experience." I mused out loud as Chuuya rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Shut up." Chuuya said as I immediately saluted in mockery.
