Kaname's birthday

"Zero! Come on! We'll be late for Kaname's birthday party!" Yukki yelled. Zero was already ready to go, the look of disgust on his face with the mention of kaname. "Let's go and get this over with." Zero said irritated. Yukki examined zero a moment as they were walking. "Zero, you don't have a present. Did you forget?" Yukki asked. Zero just looked at her and neither said another word until they got to the night class's dorm. "Kaname!" Yukki said as she hugged Kaname. Zero just looked away in disgust. "Zero, come join us, we have plenty to sustain your life." Kaname said as he laughed as he walked away. Zero could help but feel hurt towards that last remark. Zero pulled out a little wrapped box, barely big enough to hold a small necklace. Zero thought to himself "I'll never give this to him." And he shoved it back into his pocket. "Um, Zero can I talk to you in private? Just you and me?" Kaname asked. Zero nodded and followed Kaname. "What do you want?" Zero snapped. Kaname tried hard to hold back that it hurt him a little when Zero snapped like that. He swallowed and spoke, "I wanted to apologize for the way I spoke to you earlier, if I hadn't done that Yukki would've thought something was up. I am actually quite happy that you came tonight." He added. Zero looked at him and reached into his pocket, "I um, got you something. I wasn't going to give it to you but I guess since we're by ourselves why not right?" Zero laughed nervously as he handed the small box over. Kaname carefully opened the packaged box, only to find a necklace that was a heart, and on the back it said "You're not that bad. So don't get your hopes up." Zero pretended to scratch his head while Kaname observed his gift. "I hope you like it." Zero said as he started to walk away, but was stopped by Kaname. "Wait, I have something to give you." He said. Zero looked confused. "But it's not my birthday." He said puzzled. Just then Kaname leaned in and hugged Zero. "I love you Zero." Kaname said. Zero blushed and so did Kaname when Zero hugged him back. "I love you too, Kaname." Kaname heard someone call his name and he ended the hug, "I'll see you later then Zero?" He asked, Zero nodded as to agree. Right when Kaname started to walk away and regret that he didn't make any further moves, Zero grabbed his arm and kissed him on the lips gently and the disappeared into the darkness of the hall. Kaname just stood there a moment, "I'll see you again, and I'll long for your touch till then, Zero." Kaname said aloud to where Zero could still hear him, Zero smiled and blushed.
