Imma go back to third person POV because for some reason I can't write first person for these guys.
Zero had a long day of class. He was constantly being watched and whispered about. He had almost walked out of class at one point due to the aggravation he was getting. However he knew that he wasn't getting as much grief as Kaname probably was.
The one thing he was grateful for was the fact that he wasn't some prince or whatever. He hated all the attention he got, he just wanted everyone to go back to ignoring him. The end of the day couldn't come any sooner for the white haired vampire. He was rocking in his seat watching the clock tick by agonizingly slow. Finally, the horridly loud bell rang. Zero sprang from his seat and ran out of the room with his stuff.
One thing he didn't expect to see was Kaname waiting for him right outside the doors of the school, girls swooning over him at the very sight of him. Zero just rolled his eyes and pretended not to notice. As discreet as Zero had been, the annoyance radiating off of him did not go unnoticed by Kaname. Said vampire smiled at the other and walked towards him. Kaname took Zero's hand gently and interlocked their fingers, leading Zero through the crowd of people, mostly girls, that were glaring at him.
When the two finally cleared of all of the people, Kaname spoke. "How was your day?"
"Just fantastic." Zero retorted sarcastically. "But, I'm sure it wasn't any worse than yours." He said quietly. Kaname glanced back at him.
"I've had a fairly good day. First it started with seeing you, and then I slept most of the early hours, finished some paperwork, and now I'm seeing you again." He replied kindly. Zero rolled his eyes to hide his embarrassment. "Are you hungry?"
"Sure?"

"Why are we at such a fancy restaurant? I'm not prepared for something like this." Zero complained again. Of course Kaname went all out for just a simple dinner on the town."Look, I know it's a bit nicer than what you're used to-"
"Are you calling me poor?" Zero asked in a teasing manner.
"No, I'm just saying that you have grown up in a family environment so you never needed to come to a place like this." Kaname responded flatly. They were waiting for the hostess to take them back to their reserved table. "Kuran, is the name." He said professionally.
"Right, Kuran for three." She stated back to him and then started leading the way before he could question. When they reached the table, both boys took notice of the man sitting with his face practically stuffed in a menu.
"Cross? Why is he here?" Zero asked irritably. Kaien looked up sheepishly to the two. Zero's eye twitched.
"Well, if I knew the answer I would tell you. Sadly, I don't have that. So, why are you here?" Kaname asked the headmaster as the two boys sat across from the older male.
"Well, I'd seen that you had a reservation and I really liked this restaurant. I didn't know that you two would be here together." Cross wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
"I'm going to kill him." Zero started to reach across the table, but was stopped by Kaname. "Please let me do. At least let me inflict pain on him." Zero begged.
"We don't need law enforcement on us about the disappearance or murder of the headmaster. Let's make sure we're in private before we do it." Kaname smirked, along with Zero. Kaien, however, stared in horror as the two practically planned to murder him.
"Right, yeah I think I'm good. So, what do you guys want to eat? They have great food." He said nervously.
"What makes you think we're together?" Zero asked finally, making the other flinch a bit. "We could have just been discussing a drug deal or something like that and you just automatically assume that we're together." Zero snapped. Cross simply sighed.
"Oh please, I knew you two were going to get together before you two knew it." He said with a wave of his hand in dismissal. "I know a lot more than I let on. I could tell by the way you two looked at each other before you even realized how you felt. I knew it."
"Cocky son of a-"
"Are you ready to order?" The three guys ordered their meals and made idol chit chat. They didn't talk much other than about how their food was. Eventually, they all finished and left after paying of course. Kaien and the other two boys went their separate ways. Walking back to the dorms, Zero and Kaname lazily swung their interlocked hands.
"Well, tonight didn't go as planned." Kaname said quietly. Zero just looked over to him. "It was just supposed to be you and I, but like all things someone had to come along an-"
"Hey," Zero took Kaname's face into his hands, forcing him to look at him. "I had a great time. Sure it might not have went exactly how you wanted it to but I was good. I was with you and that's all that matters." A smile formed on both of their faces.
"Why do you have to be so perfect?"
"I'm not, I just like you a lot, so I don't want you thinking that you messed up when you didn't. Just don't leave me and we'll be good." Zero brought the other in closer and their lips connected gently for a soft, loving kiss. It was brief, but it was one of the best things in the world.
"So you like me?" Kaname asked with a smirk and a teasing manner.
"Yeah yeah, shut up. I like you a lot. Deal with it." They began walking again and were peaceful with each other.
"I love you."
"Feelings' mutual."
^(Zero said the last thing btw)
