Whale...
Zero woke up alone, and a little sore of course. He sat up, his nakedness covered up by a shirt or pants. He didn't really know nor care. Sleepily, he rubbed his eyes and thought about the previous events. The thoughts were pleasant at first; until he realized that he was in fact alone and it became clear as to what that meant.
"That asshole left me! Not a note, nor explanation left for me." he said aloud, not caring if anyone heard. He figured out which articles of clothing were what and began to put them on, ignoring the light ache in his hips that was going away. "He thinks he's just gonna have his fun then ditch me like that. I'm not a one night stand." he murmured to himself.
After he had his clothes and shoes on, and his hair some what tamed down, he got up. Walking to his room was quite peaceful, to say the least. It was a nice temperature and the birds were singing a harmless song. He had his hands in his pants pockets and was whistling along with the birds. With all the peacefulness around him, Zero had almost forgotten about his anger towards Kaname and his abandonment.
Almost.
There was still a look in his eyes. One that said that if he encountered the wrong person, he would snap like a dry twig. Sure, he had good self control, and would never hurt someone intentionally but sometimes, some things twist all the wrong keys. There wasn't much that could anger him more than what he already was.
But seeing Kaname and Yukki was that one exception. "Zeeeeero! Come over here!" Yukki rang out with her annoyingly high pitched voice. Zero couldn't help but think to himself that he was glad he liked men because he wouldn't be able to put up with a girls voice all the time. Despite his annoyance with the girl, and the irritation from the other male, Zero walked over to them.
Zero had his normal face of 'I don't feel like dealing with your shit, leave me alone' on, hoping that Yukki didn't sense his dispostion. But he made sure to glare at Kaname extra hard. Yukki was asking a lot of questions about homework and other various subjects, but Zero wasn't exactly paying attention to the girl. Until she hit him, nearly knocking him over; not from force but from sheer surprise. "Zero are you listening to me?!" she yelled out in her normal annoying voice that made her sound like a two year old.
"I was listening, just not caring." Zero stated bluntly. Yukki glared as hard as her small frame would allow her to, not exactly achieving the sense of fear.
"You really shouldn't be like that to her Zero." Kaname said plainly, not seeming to really care about the situation at hand. "Its not nice to be mean." Zero was glaring even harder now.
"Isn't that the point? And can't you see I'm busy right now? Can I ignore you some other day?" he snapped, clinching his fists and all his muscles were on edge.
"Since when did you become so childish? I thought you were always one to try to show me up on intelligence." Kaname fired back in a calm voice. Yukki was just standing there listening to there vocal argument. Zero had nearly had enough.
"I know I'm talking like an idiot. I have to otherwise you wouldn't understand what I'm saying." he spat back and glared harder. Kaname scoffed at Zero and that pushed the angry male too far. Smack!
Zero hit Kaname in the face as hard as he could, effectively knocking the dark haired boy on his rear end. Yukki immediately went to check on Kaname but he gently pushed her away. "I guess I'm just a mistake to you, aren't I? You regret that I was ever made." Zero walked off after that.
Zero hadn't gotten very far when he heard someone behind him. He didn't have much time to react before someone slammed him against the wall. Zero looked up and into the fierce eyes of Kaname Kuran. His cheek still had a slight red mark on it from the hard hit he took earlier.
"What do you want?" Zero asked with enough venom to poison a hundred people. Kaname had a fistful of Zero's shirt and his knuckles were turned a ghostly white.
"I might have deserved most of that back there, but you had no right to say anything about me regretting anything about you." he replied with just as much venom but had a look in his eyes that Zero couldn't quite distinguish what was.
"You had no right leaving me without an explanation." Kaname's eyes softened a bit and he looked sad. He laid his head on Zero's shoulder.
"I know." that was the only response he gave. They both just stood there for a while. "It's been one day. One day and we're already fighting." Kaname chuckled at his own words.
"And surprise, surprise. It was your fault to begin with." Zero smirked. At that moment, they knew they would be fine. Or at least, they thought they would....
Whale, I have no excuses. Other than school. Honors classes suck sometimes. I mean the first week we had two essays, one project, and three tests so. Anyways, here you go. Song is the ending theme song to Vampire Knight Guilty. I'm not going to spell it though cause I forgot it. Love you people!
