The Battle Begins

~Elina's POV~

We went to Quarton and saw the place was really dark. We also saw some kind of light pillar that reached up to the clouds. We decided to split up. Bravenwolf and Ceylan went one way while Valorn and Lydendor went to another.

"I'm going on my own." I said.

"Go where exactly?" Asked Valorn.

"Just somewhere." I answered.

"Well, despite how good you are at fighting, yoj need a squad just in case you're attacked." Said Beag. "So-"

"No. It's alright." I said. "I can handle myslef."

"Are you certain? We can't afford loosing even one Tenkai Knight in this battle. Uh... Not that i doubt your abilities." Said Beag.

"Don't worry." I said running off. "You guys just go! I'll be with you as soon as i can!"

"Ok! Stay safe! And be careful!" I heard Bravenwolf shout back.

I ran through the desert to look for one specific person. "Dromus! Where are you?!"

"I'm right here." He said, jumping out from behind a rock.

"Dromus. Gen, what happened here?! Why is Quarton like this now? And why can i see the Earth?!" I said pointing at the planet.

He kept silent and looked up at the planet.

"WELL?! Why?!"

"... You'll find out soon enough." Then he left.

"Crap!" I said, slicing a tall rock in half. I went back and looked for the others. I saw them discuss somethings with the Guardian and we went back to Earth.

Then, we felt an earthquake and saw a HUGE Vilius shooting at us.

"Ok, WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!" i shouted.

"No idea!" Said Toxsa.

Then the guardian appeared. "You are in a gap between time amd space. What you are experiancing now is one possible future for the world. If the world merges than it would be worse than this."

"Worse? What's worse than this?!" Toxsa said.

We ran back to the shop and to the protal room or whatever. The Guardian appeared and said he would try to stabelize the portal so we could go back to our original world.

We saw Mr. White and Toxsa and Ceylan checked if he was real, which he is. We explained to him about what happened and the Guardian told us that we could only wait while he fix the portal.

~Normal POV~

"Waiting? It's a waste of time." Said Toxsa. They are all at the park now. "It's a ripoff, like a game without a bonus level."

"Except this is... No video game." Said Chooki.

"If it was, i'd hit the quit button." Said Ceylan.

"Don't say that." Said Guren. "You don't mean it Ceylan."

"I know, but it's a lot to handle you know?"

"Speak for yourself scardy-cat!" Said Toxsa. "Except for that giant Vilius. That was totally scary!"

"It could have been different." Said Elina.

"Gee you think?" Said Toxsa.

"It wasn't suppsie to be this way." Said Elina.

The other four were confused. "Elina, did hou know all this was suppose to happen?" Asked Guren.

"No. At least, not this part." Elina said truthfully. "The thing is, i've been helping Dromus even before i got here."

"WHAT?! YOU'RE ONE OF DROMUS' PAWNS?!" said Ceylan.

"Nat a pawn. Gen and i are actually close friends. At least, we use to be." Elina explained. "I moved with my sister since she needs to go to collage and i haven't seen him in 5 years. Gen changed a lot and the only reason i've been with him is to find out why."

"Elina..." Guren said.

"Beni was new though. Gen had just told me about her last week. I've been helping them ever since but i swear, i didn't know any of this was going to happen!" Elina said with tears in her eyes. "If i did, i would have quit being a Tenkai Knight by now."

The four looked at her with pity. Guren walked towards her. "It's alright Elina. We trust you."

"Yeah, at least you're a lot more believable than Beni." Said Toxsa.

"And you've helped us a lot toom" said Chooki.

"Yeah, we're all friends. One mind, and one team!" Said Ceylan.

Elina smiled. "Thanks guys." Then she frowned. "I wish Gen would feel the same way."

"We'll make him coem back to his senses. You can count on it!" Said Guren.

~Elina's POV~

I decided to look for him one more time. Soon, after running around all of Benham City, i found him at the park, which was where we were 3 HOURS AGO!!!

"There you are!" I ran up to him. "I've been looking everywhere for you!"

"............ Stay out of my way."

"What?"

"Stay. Out. Of. My. Way. If you don't, you will regret it."

"Gen, i stopped following you around becaude this world is still our home."

"So your going against me? I knew this would happen at one point."

"W-what?! N-no! I'm trying to-"

"It doesn't matter as long as i have the Black Dragon Key." He started to walk away, but i grabbed his arm.

"Listen to me!"

"Get OFF!" He jerked his hands away. He glared at me coldly and walked away. "I made a big mistake trusting you Hazel."

Ok, that hurt. A lot. I ran back jome, ignored my parents when they greet, locked myslef in my room and cried myself to sleep. It really hurt having your bestie say that. Especially if that bestie is your ultimate crush... Yeah, i finally said it. Gen's. My. Crush.

The next day, we head back to Quarton and i went off to look for Dromus. It hurt enough knowing he was going to destroy the world. And he just killed me by saying that yesterday...

Flashback~

He glared at me coldly and walked away. "I made a big mistake trusting you Hazel."

Flashback End~

I ran into the fortress and soon i saw Dromus and Bravenwolf locked in a battle.
