Now that they had the means to travel back and get the stones from the last, they needed to figure out when and where the stones actually were. Most of the team had had a run in with one or more of the stones or as Tony put it "damn near been killed by one of the six Infinity Stones"

Nat, Rhodey, Scott, Rocket and Maddie sat round the conference table in the office they had taken over while Steve and Tony ran through the six stones and everything they knew about them. Thor was presumably asleep, lounging on a chair in the corner, beer in hand. Bruce paced around and Nebula and Clint hung back from the group, Nebula sat in one of the office chairs while Clint leaned in the doorway.

Hours later, everyone was still sat around the office, still trying to work out where to get the stones. Thor had told them everything he knew about the Aether in quite a long winded way but they got the information they needed. The stone was on Asgard. Next Rocket explained how Quill had come across the Power Stone which Scott got quite excited about. The possibility of going to space was amazing but everyone in the room understood the importance of why they were going. Nebula was the only one who knew anything about the Soul Stone, Thor had previously said no one had ever known where it was located but Thanos had clearly found it.

"Thanos found the Soul Stone on Vormir." Nebula told them.

"what is Vormir?" Nat asked, not looking up from her perch in the couch as she scribbled down notes.

"A dominion of death at the very center of celestial existence"

Everyone looked over to her, Maddie was concerned by the emotion she felt radiating from Nebula and the rest of the group was shocked by her words.

"It's where Thanos murdered my sister" she explained.

"Not it" Scott said, easing the tension slightly.

Almost everyone had disappeared from the conference room, off to sleep or work on something else. People had been going a bit stir crazy cooped up the one room all day and the takeout they'd had earlier had begun to stink out the room a bit. Tony and Nat were lying on the table, Tony nursing a headache while Bat fiddled with her pen. She had been diligently taking notes all day, desperate to find a connection that would solve the issue of finding the stones. Bruce was next to them on the floor and Maddie had claimed her own spot, lying on her back with her legs resting on the wall.

"that Time Stone guy?"

"Dr Strange" Bruce supplied

"yeah, what kind of doctor was he?" Maddie asked.

"Ear-nose-throat meets rabbit-from-hat" Tony quipped

"Nice place in the Village though" Bruce added.

Maddie pushed herself away from the wall, straightening her legs and flipping over so she was lying on her stomach.

"yeah on Sullivan Street?" Tony asked

"Mmh, Bleecker Street" Bruce corrected.

"wait he lived in New York?" Maddie asked.

Tony gave a sarcastic comment while Bruce answered properly.

"guys, if you pick the right year, there are three Stones in New York" Nat pieced together, ignoring Tony's comment.

"Holy shit" Maddie breathed out.

Bruce sat up, "shut the front door"

The next morning, everyone suited up  and split off into their groups. They made their way to the platform and Bruce set everything up.
