-Rory-

True to my word, we didn't leave in fact we followed him where he went and what he did on his daily business, even if it grossed me out a little. At one point, he swung over to a the other cliff face on a tall wooden pole.

"Careful!" Rey and Hattie yelled, turning out that wooden pole was a spear. He caught his food and we followed him back even in the rough winds and rain. The next morning we waited for him, all three of us.

"Your wasting your time." he grumbled walking away, he'd gotten really good at that.

"Clearly, he doesn't remember you." hattie commented

"Oh he does, he's just forgotten how persistent I am. i drove him insane once, I can do it again." We followed him up the mountain when we stopped. I heard faint whispers.

"Did you guys hear that?" Rey wondered to the two of us

"Yeah." Hattie and I answered. Ignoring our pursuit of Luke, we made our way back down. Hattie was holding onto both of our hands. We made our way through a thick fog to stand before a grand and commanding tree. Hattie let go of us and ran ahead, we followed and the base of the tree was hollowed out. Small and cramped but with a table holding a collection of books. Hattie touched one of them.

"Who are you?" I spun around. Luke was a shadow figure in the entrance.

"I know this place."

"I've been here before." Rey and Hattie voiced their thoughts. So had I, it was a comforting place when I was a child, but it ad been a while since my dreams had taken me here. Luke came in and joined us.

"Built a thousand generations ago to keep these. The Original Jedi texts." he took one of them out and opened it "Just like us they are the last of the Jedi Religion." He glanced at me then back at Rey and Hattie who stepped back.

"You've seen this place, you've seen this island." he interrogated them

"only in my dreams." Rey looked all around her.

"Who are you?" he questioned again "Who are they? Why did you bring them here Rory?"

"They're my family." I answered honestly "We just found out that Rey is my sister, she is sensitive like I am, so is Hattie. Master we need your help now more than ever." I pleaded with him. He made his way over to Rey.

"Where are you from? If your related to Rory you must have come from somewhere." I rolled my eyes at him, Hattie came to stand in front of me I rested my hand on her shoulders.

"I'm from nowhere" she shrugged him off

"No one is from no where?"

"Jakku." she answered

"All right, that is pretty much no where." he countered back "Why are you here, Rey, from nowhere?" he asked her directly and she glanced at me. I nodded at her to answer.

"The resistance sent us. The First order has become unstoppable." she gave a monotone reply. That not what he was asking.

"Why are you here?" he asked again "I know why they are but why you? Why did you come as well?" he probed for the answer. There was a moment of silence.

"Something inside of me has always been there. But now it's awake and I'm afraid. I don't know what it is or what to do with it. I need help." she replied truthfully and Luke accepted that.

"You need a teacher. I can't teach you. Either of you." he glanced down at Hattie

"Why not? I've seen your routine, you are not busy. Besides you taught Rory, you can teach us." Rey insisted blocking I'm from returning to the books.

"I will never train another generation of Jedi. I came to this island to die." he left "It's time for the Jedi to end." I gave Hattie over to Rey.

"Why?" i inquire "I came here with hope. If Leia and I were wrong we deserve to know why. Don't abandon me again Luke. At least look me in the eye and tell me why." he didn't say anything and went about his business.

"Damn it!" I yell in frustration then sink to the floor as tears began to surface.

"Mama" Hattie kneels next to me " I'm sorry Mama."

"It's not your fault sweetheart." I wrap her up in my arms and kiss her head "It's mine, I failed you and everyone else."
