This story was meant to be a point of view from the main character when their life was perfect and comparing that to when their life wasn't the way it was supposed to be and ended up tearing them apart.

This story was heavily influenced from the show 'Bojack Horsemen', specifically the chapter 'an extra coffee'. That one chapter was meant to be a monologue like the episode 'free churro' because it's just a large chapter where we just hear the main character letting out all the thoughts that were running in their mind and just getting it out in the open.

I know that this story isn't much of an x read and I really apologize if that was something you were wanting. I knew this is what people wanted, so I added in a couple of chapters where it was just the main character's memories of their time with Kurapika to try and balance things out.

I would also like to apologize if the events in this story ended up being very traumatic for some to read. I hoped that a warning in the beginning would remind people of what they're about to read, but I would still like to apologize if people found this upsetting.

The final chapter ends with the line 'Kurapika is dead and very thing is worse now'. This was meant to be a parallel to the main character when they went to therapy and said 'kurapika's just gone and everything is worse now'. There was meant to be a shift in meaning with this sentence from the middle of the story to the end.

In the middle of the story, the main character is out seeking for help to deal with their traumatic experience after their husband goes missing. Then going to therapy signifies that they are making a shift in their life and trying to get better.

In the end of the story when the main character ends the story with the sentence 'Kurapika is dead and everything is worse now' shows the main characters relapse into their previous mindset and behavior, that because they learned of the death of their husband, everything in their world is shattered and all that work they put into making themselves better doesn't even matter anymore.

I want to thank everyone that read through this story. I know lots of you wanted a continuation with Kurapika and his daughter, and I hope you enjoyed the story, even if it wasn't what you expected.
