Chapter 30: RECONCILING

CHANYEOL's pov

I'm at the backyard at Roomate house right now, still waiting for Baekhyun.

I hope he will forgive me. I'll explain everything to him. I will say sorry everytime, and if needed, I'll kneel.

BAEKHYUN's pov

I'm nervous. Totally nervous.

Just seeing Chanyeol's back sitting on a bench, knowing that he is waiting for me, makes me nervous. But I promise I won't create any physical fighting between us. I'll hold on to my temper.

And as I am approaching him, he looked at me with an awkward smile..

"Baek" He called

I raised my eyebrow..

he tapped the space of the bench beside him telling me to sit there. So I did..

An awkward silence covered us. The wind blows heavily. I can't talk.

"I'm sorry" Chanyeol suddenly talked. "I'm really sorry" He apologized again.

I looked at him. He is just looking down playing with the grass with his feet.

"Why? Why didn't you tell me?" I asked..

"I know you will be angry" He answered shyly.

"But don't you think I'll become more angry if you don't tell me earlier?" I asked a bit sarcastic

"I.. I was so scared" He replied nervously.

"You know Chanyeol-ssi, it's not a problem If you will court her, atleast you just tell me that you will.... But you did not. I'm angry cause you didn't tell me. You make me look like a fool. Waiting for the girl I like to like me back" I said standing up and letting out the anger I'm feeling right now.

"I'm j-just scared that y-you won't let m-me" He also stand up answered nervously.

"Why wouldn't I? Did I own Bomi? Is she mine?.. You know there is no problem with that. I can't blame you if you like her that much, you're just loving her. And I can't do anything for it to stop right? So have no problem with that. I understand you. Me too, I really like Bomi that much that I want to spend the rest of my life with her. But I'm not an idiot like you. Letting your bestfriend becomes a fool? That's a foul dude.." I said really dramatic.. tsk.. that's a gay.

"I'm sorry.. sorry.. sorry.. sorry.. sorry.. sorry.. I'm really sorry" He apologized.

"I'll let you continue what have you started. I'll let Bomi go" What I have said also hurts me..

He smiles and looked at me.

"But... their's a condition" I added

"What?" He asked curiously.

"Protect her. Protect her no matter what happens. Avoid her involving on a danger. And if she will be in trouble, save her. Don't hurt her, don't make her cry.. promise me Chanyeol-ssi. You'll love her until your life ends" I looked at him seriously.

"I will" He nodded and smiled. "Are we okay now?" He asked..

I chuckled. He open his arms widely..

"A bro hug?" He said..

"Yeah" I said and we hugged..

"Yah yah yah yah! Stop that boys.. It's so girly.. Eeeewww" Sehun said acting like a girl.. tsk

Then We released each other from the hug.

"Stop this drama before the girls arrive.. Let's eat" Suho hyung suggested..

We laughed..

Right, Apink is not here. They have a schedule for today while we, Exo, does not have one. So here we are, having a moments.. Wahahahaha

"Kaja!" We all shouted and jumped happily going in the house.

Gladly, we already fixed it.
