Chapter 38: GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER?

CHANYEOL's pov

I obey grandma. I follow Krystal

"Hey! Wait!" I shouted and held her arms stopping her to run away.

"A-ahm.. I'm just g-going to the b-bathroom" She replied shyly.

"Are you trying to hide?" I asked her.

"M-mwo? Wae-waeyeo? Why should I?" She answered struggling.

"I don't know either" I replied.

She's hiding her face again through her hair. "You are not ugly so why are you hiding your face?" I asked.

But she didn't answer. I grabbed her hand and pull her going downstair. "You did not eat, don't you?" I asked.

"Anyi" She answered.

"Okay" I just replied and dragged her to the kitchen.

I look in the fridge and saw some yogurts. Then I quickly grabbed two of it and we sat on the chair.

I am now eating but I can feel that she's not touching the food. She is just staring at me.

"You don't like yogurts?" I asked.

"Ah.. hehe.. of course I do" She answered and started to eat some.

"You are a Korean?" I asked her.

"Yeah but we moved here last last year" She answered.

"Owh.. surname?" I asked again.

"J-jung, Krystal Jung imnida" She answered.

"Mmmmmm~" I just replied.

A sudden awkwardness covered us.

"You can also ask a question if you want" I said not looking at her to avoid that awkward moment again.

"Mm.. Grandma said, you stayed at South Korea for a long time just by yourself. That must be hard for you" She said.

"That's right, It's hard for me. But I think that's much okay rather than to depend on my family for my whole life. I've been an independent man" I replied looking at her. She just smiled and look away.

"Just tell me your story, I'll listen. I wanna know the life of my soon to be husband" She said.

"I became an idol there. Being a part of EXO is one of the biggest achievement I made. I also made a drama there. Acting, Singing, Dancing, Rapping, and others. I was very happy doing those things. I met some friends. And I have a girlfriend there" I said seriously.

"What? I think I misunderstand s-something..." She said a bit shocked.

I really mean it. I want her to know that I have my heart there, at Korea. My jagiya~

"What wrong? The girlfriend? Owh~ Don't worry. You heard it right" I answered.

"Y-you mean, you have a g-girlfriend there?" She asked.

"Yup. Until know, we are in a relationship" I replied a bit sarcastic

I don't wanna be rude to her. She's kind but I have to do it. I love my Bbom.

"Bwoya? But we're going to get m-married soon" She said.

"Yeah but it's not fair. I was just asked to do it. I love my grandma so I will" I replied

"What about her? Your girlfriend" She asked a bit worried.

"I can make it up to her. I can explain everything" I said.

"If y-you want, let's get divorced" She said. This time, I'm shocked.

"W-what are you saying?" I asked confused.

"Grandma is in a critical condition right now. She just wanna see you get married before she die. Let's make her wish come true and after that, you're free already. You can go back to your girl again" She said.

I was totally shocked. I did not expect her to be this kind. "You sure?" I asked.

"If course. I don't wanna be with a guy that loves another girl" She said.

"K-komapdta" I replied.

"Mm.. I'll just go up again. Thanks for the yogurt. I'll make grandma laugh for you. You love her right? Hehe.. annyeong~" She said then walked away.

She's definitely one of kind. I'm grateful to her.
