Sam's POV

I arrived at the entrance of RU where Conor told me to meet him yesterday. Since I have no classes today, I accepted the invitation to help him with his assignment. We chatted till 2 in the morning. Conor is a sweet boy. He's already like a good friend to me.

Leaning against the large oak door, I wait for him. Gazing out on to campus, the sycamore trees were blowing softly in the breeze, the leaves making a sound almost like an applause when suddenly Conor pulls up in his car, with the roof down.

I was my dream car! A red ford mustang which must have been vintage. My eyes widened in excitement at the convertible motor vehicle. "You like?" He asked, sliding his sunglasses down to the tip of his nose.

"This is like my dream car!" I almost shouted, placing my hands in the warm metal. He laughs at my enthusiasm.

"Why don't you take it for a spin?" He asked.

"Are you sure?" I stutter out, slightly not believing his request.

"Yeah, sure! Hop in!" He replies, stepping out of the red metal beauty. I do have a drivers license but I had crashed my own car back home many times... For best interest and the for filament of my dreams, I didn't mention that to Conor.

I stalked it's perimeter, my nude kitten heels making "tinging" noises as they made contact with the tarmac. Conor held the door open as I slid across the cream leather. The leather was warm on my bare skin under my faux- silk blue dress. The door is closed carefully before Conor runs around the outside and sat beside me in the passenger seat. My hands smooth over the steering wheel, as I inhale the smell of the car. The aroma was of a musky car spray that was obviously trying to cover up the smell of Conor's aftershave. "Let's go!" I said, turning the key. Conor lazily skids his arm across the back of the chairs and relaxes in the September sun.

I checked the rear view mirrors and noticed a figure staring directly at me from inside the building. I turn to see who it was, but it the sun was reflecting off the lenses of my sunglasses limiting my gaze. The eyes holding his gaze on my face and suddenly turned away. In surprise, my foot pushed the accelerator and the car stalled. "Jesus Sam!" Conor laughed.

"God won't help you now... I'm driving!" Turning the ignition, it started again and were off!

Driving through the school grounds, the wind in my brunette hair. I was in my element. Nothing could get better than this! I was so engulfed by the scenery, I didn't even notice Conor taking photos of me, driving and smiling away. When I did notice, my pink palm covers the lens, forcing his paparazzi session to end. He laughs and sits back. Flicking through the shots he smiles at mug shots and eventually says "I think we've got the photo!" I turned to him and smile. He gives a wide smile back at me and I laughed. Tipping my head back in the cool autumn breeze and scream "woo" into the open air, my voice echoing around the open plain.

"Eyes on the road, love." Conor warned.

When we arrive back at the campus entrance, Conor turned to me and says "thank you so much for today Sam"

"My pleasure. It was fun, I love your car!"

He laughed "well maybe you could drive it some other time?"

"Maybe I will! I might steal it in the night" I say clenching the steering wheel.

Laughing he takes my cold hand in his warm one and says "au revoir mademoiselle" and kissed the back of my hand. A short giggle escapes my mouth. God I hate my laugh.

Climbing out of the beautiful car, I waved goodbye to Conor and the red beauty.

Still laughing as I passed through the front entrance of the school, oblivious to someone coming behind me and grabbing me by the hand. With shock I jolted and turn in surprise. It was Matt. Conor told me last night that he was a womaniser. I couldn't blame him. His dark brown orbs penetrated me, and made me weak at the knees. "So Conor eh?" He said in his husky tone.

"We're just friends" I state dryly, I will not give in to temptation. Trying to retrieve my hand, resulting in his grasp tightening.

"Didn't look like that to me?" Making the moment even more awkward, he pulled me closer.

"What's it to you?!" I spat back, pressing my hand on his toned torso as I desperately tried to create distance between us. I like personal space if you don't mind.

He suddenly grasped the other hand holding me into place, pulling me uncomfortable close to his domain.

"I just like to know what's going on" he whispered.

I wriggle like a worm being penetrated by a eagle. My hands releasing and clenching, trying to squirm out of Matt's clutches. A low chuckle vibrated from his chest, which was pressed tightly against my own. He obviously liked seeing girls in a vulnerable state. I realised one hand from his firm grasp. I tried to push him away. "Don't act like I don't know what you are Matt?" I spat at him, "I may be a freshman, but I still know that you've probably hit on every girl in RU!"

His laugh grew louder as he grasped my wrist back to it's original position. "I can tell your going to be a challenge," he sniggered, leaning down to my left ear, "I like that" he whispered before kissing my neck, his eyelashes tickling my earlobe. He released me from the prison of his hands. I held his gaze for a few seconds, before quickly turning and walking (almost running) away from him. "See you around... Sam" he yelled after me. I turned to the echoey voice for one last time. Matt gave me a quick wink before disappearing.
