Sam's POV

In the darkness of the room, I could see something moving under the covers where April lay. Her mouth parted and she was panting hard. Her blonde hair manic and her fists clenching the sheets. I screamed as I saw her lying there. Her eyes flew open and she stared at me. "Sam!" She shouted. The figure from under the covers revealed himself. Blonde hair. Blue eyes. An unmistakable jawline. His tongue slid out of his mouth and licked his plum pink lips.

April was shocked. Trying to catch her breath, as the blonde male scrambled from under the covers to standing position. Completely naked he stumbled towards me.

"Sam... I-"

I pushed him away from me. Walked over to the pile of clothes on the floor and grabbed his dark washed jeans and boxers. I flung the clothes in his direction and whispered "leave Conor." Yes... The male who was found with April was Conor... I'm not so naive that I didn't know what was going on in the room before. A stunned Conor quickly scampered out of the room without a word. I glared at April, she stared back. She was unaware of my emotion. So was I. I didn't know what I felt inside all I knew was I didn't like it.

After the after-party

"So..." April sat awkwardly on Matt's cream couch. Her hands fumbling vigorously. She tried to speak but no words came out.

"What was it like?" I asked finally. The question hand been ticking on my brain for a while. What is intercourse really like? What makes people go out of their way to have it? What makes even the nicest of people turn dark for it?

"What? Sex?" April asked confused. I shake my head up and down a bit.

I felt belittled. Like I was stupid not to know what it's like. Like by the age of 18 I should know by now. But I don't. I felt like a child. "Well.. Erm... Hmm..." She stuttered. "Well I guess it's something that everyone experiences on their own and no one can really explain it..." She stated. I took the words in, hanging on to every word. Then she added "with the right person, it's magic!" She said this quietly. I don't understand why. But she did.

Did she think Conor's the one? Did she really... I was scared for her... She didn't know what she was getting herself into.

The topic of intercourse kept popping up. People expected things of Matt and I's relationship that we could not conquer. But all I know is I loved Matt, and nothing on this earth could have changed that...
