Sam's POV
The clock ticked continuously as the hours went by. I hopped in the shower, letting my mind wash away all the problems and worries in my life. Tipping my head back. The water gushed over my body, wrapping it in a warm velvet cape. Turning the silver knob, stopping the flow of water, I stepped onto the icy cold tiles. Covering my naked body in a soft fluffy towel, I was the only one in the girls bathroom for our floor. Everyone was at lessons or off and out. I stalked over to the mirror and wiped away the condensation, revealing a reflected face staring back at me. I smiled and so did the girl in the mirror, and made my way back to the dorm.
When I arrived back, my outfit was laid out stretched across the duvet of my bed; a one shoulder cream and navy dress, nude heels and a golden clutch bag to match the sequins that adored the waist band of my dress. I shrugged my dressing gown on and began to apply my make up. The substances erased all my imperfections; the pimples in my chin and forehead, a scar above my right eyebrow and dark circles from lack if sleep. I swiped the pink blusher across my cheekbones, giving my cheeks a flush of colour and mascara made my eyelashes seem fuller and thinker. Minimal makeup seemed to be more appropriate because piling it on seemed to hide who I really was. Matt needed to see the real me. I dressed in my clothing and realised the clip, that held my brunette mane back, letting my hair cascade down my back. I tamed the frizz with a fluid and brushed my wavy hair till it was a smooth shine. The clock read 19:35. Shit! I was late.
I ran as fast as my heels could take and reached the bank that over looked the school gates. Matt was lent up against his black beauty. His eyes twinkle when the sees me in the evening twilight. Pacing toward me, he meets me in the middle of the steep bank. My platform pumps making it very hard to walk but manage to stand up right and walk with confidence. His warm hand held my cold one up to his plump pink lips and lightly pecks it. "Well don't you look beautiful!" He said. My cheeks turned beetroot red at Matt's remark. His arm snaked around my waist as he led me to the car. I smiled as he opened the door for me. Lowering my body I scooted in, as he slammed the door behind me. It made me jump. In two seconds flat, he was sitting next to me and we were off into the night. I smiled on anticipation, butterflies chattering in the pit of my stomach. I must have been flinching a bit for Matt said "are you excited?"
"Yeah I am actually!"
"Good, I love you're dress!"
I looked down to examine it. It did look very nice.
"Well maybe if I'm not using it you can borrow it sometime." I said cheekily.
This remark made him laugh. We pulled into downtown Camden to a restaurant called "Fraser's". Reading the title of the place, I raised one eyebrow, unsure of what to expect.
Entering the room, the smell of fresh pizza dough and tomatoes filled the air. Only a few people were dotted around the room. Talking quietly, trying not to make eye contact with anybody else. The walls were panelled brown wood and so was the floor. The dim light from a single chandelier and candles lit the room in a rosy glow.
Once we had ordered, Matt turned to me and said "you know about out scene for Fairwell? Well we still need to practise the end..." He whispered hotly.
I laughed because the situation was so ridiculous. Matt's face stayed neutral. Was he serious? "Matt not here! Not now."
"Why not?"
"Because we're in public!"
"So you want to do it on private? Well why don't you come back to mine tonight?"
I'm shocked at his suggestion. But I stay strong "well we'll have to see how tonight goes."
After that awkward interlude we talked for 2 hours straight about music and campus life, mainly about cars believe it or not. It reminded me of Conor's car. How I love it and it's my dream car... A pain ticked in the pit of my stomach. I don't want him to find out! I don't want a reprise of last time! I shook the feeling off and continued talking.
Once we had devoured a 3 course meal it was time to leave. On route we would usually turn right at the crossroads to go back to RU campus but we turned left. "Wait where are we going?" I asked in confusion.
"We're going back to mine! You said you'd wait till the end of the date... Well it's the end!" His palm rested on my thigh. I began to shake in fear. Was he serious? Did he really think? Just then we pulled over to a block of flats. He jumped out of the car, jogged around the outside and opened the door. I refused to get out. "What's the matter?"
"Take me home!" I said not even looking at him.
"What?"
"Take me home!!" I said a little louder. My arms crossed.
"Come on Sam. Don't be a spoil sport!" He said jokingly.
"I'm not coming in!" I shouted.
"Well then you leave me no choice!" He leaned over, unbuckled the seat belt and swung me over his shoulder, carrying me fireman style. I vigorously thrusted, banging his shoulder and back with clenched fists, demanding him to put me down. This made him laugh even more.
Once he had carried me up two floors and opened the door to his flat, he finally lowered me down. "How dare you! You could be done for kidnapping! You-" I was cut off by Matt, pressing his lips against mine. My eyes fluttered shut in delight. He was such a good kisser. His hand cupped my cheeks, whilst the other pulled me close to him. A low moan escaped both of our lips. We parted.
"Now what was that about me getting done in for kidnapping?" He says moving his hand down and tightly gripping my backside.
I push him away and run for the front door. Matt's strong grasp jolted my arm back to him. "Where you going Sam?! We're only having fun."
He dragged me into a dark room and lifted me off my feet in a bridal style. I had no clue where we were going, all I could see was pitch black darkness. I thrashed in Matts arms, wishing to be let down. Before I landed on a soft surface. The material was cool and soothing under my bare skin of my legs.
Then it hit me! I was on his bed. Shaking in the darkness, I felt Matt's body press against mine, forcing me to lie back onto the bed. He reached out and flicked a side lamp on. His eyes glistened in the yellow light. His brown hair hanging just over his forehead. Gazing down at me he smirked at the look of terror that was on my face.
"Well I've got to say, you do look good under me." His laugh erupted in the back of his throat. I scrambled backwards, being free from the prison of Matt's body. "I'm only fooling. Here! Wear these!" He said throwing me some clothes he had taken from his top drawer. I examined the materials in my hands, and was about to make my way the the en suite before Matt stopped me by blocking the doorway. "You can changed in here, I don't mind!" I shoved passed him forcing him to laugh.
A few moments later I re-enter the bedroom dressed in Matt's oversize t-shirt and some of his football shorts. He turned it smile at me. I didn't know where to look! He was standing there only dressed in white tight boxers. I resorted in not looking at him at all. I grabbed two pillows and headed for the door. He grasped my arm, demanding my attention. "Erm... Where do you think you're going?"
"To the couch! I'll sleep there for the night, because you're obviously not going to take me home!" I spitted back at him.
"No no no! You'll sleep with me!" He said pulling me closer to his warm half naked body.
"But I-"
"You'll sleep with me!" He whispered harshly. A shiver was sent down my spine as his grasp tightened on my arm. I flinched under the pain and made my way back to the bed. "Get in!" He said. Oh crap! He's going to try something! Crap! Crap! Crap! I began to shake harder as I sit down on the bed, lowering myself under the quilts. I laid flat on my back. I saw the look on Matt's face as he raised an arm. This is the beginning! Oh crap! I don't want this! Not here! Not now! I closed my eyes not wishing to be there.
I whimpered at the thoughts of the next few moments. When all of a sudden, all I felt was Matt's soft touch caresses me around the waist, pulling me closer to him and hugging me close. His enormous hand made his way up my shirt and began to draw swirls onto my stomach. The soft touch was relaxing and got me almost drifting off. The last thing I remember was Matt softly kissing my neck and whispering "goodnight beautiful" in my ear before we were captivated by the darkness of sleep.
