Sam's POV
A few weeks had passed since the night at Matt's place. I got the job, that I went for the interview for. Nothing amazing just a job in topshop. But still I got discount!
Since then Matt had taken me as his prize and not to let me out of his sight. Picking and dropping me off everywhere, had his arm draped across my shoulder where ever we went. I got a lot of death stares when I went around campus with him. Where not exactly a couple but we are sort of together. I still see Conor now and again. But he seemed like he didnt want to talk to me. Probable because Matt was attached to me from the hip. I don't know where we're at me and him... I don't know.
I walk into the Topshop and the smell of leather and floor polish wafted my senses. Ethan, my new gay best friend came prancing over giving me a hug and air kisses. "Hi babe how are you?" He said in his own little way.
"I'm great thanks, always lovely to see you Ethan." I said with a laugh. Then we began to chat about trash TV that he'd got me into whilst serving customers.
At about 4:30 my shift was nearly over. Ethan came over to me and said "you know, I've never met your boyfriend, Sam."
"What?! I don't have a boyfriend!"'I said with a chuckle.
"What about Matt?"
"How do you know about that?" I hadn't told him because I wanted it to be a secret from work. I even made sure that when Matt picked me up from work that he'd literally be there for less than 10 seconds so no one saw us. His reputation wouldn't win me any points at work.
"Oh it's the latest gossip that you two are a couple!" He said, bright and bubbly.
"No where not together! Well not at least... Argh I don't know it's so confusing!" I sit on the foot stool placed behind me. The top in between my fingers was dropped to my lap. My head dropped into my palms. I let out a few sobs. "I don't know where we're at! People say we're together and were not and I'm losing friends and..." I trailed off to feel Ethan hug me close.
"Babe, it's okay! I know what it's like! Hey what you need is a night out where we can get pissed!" I laughed at this remark. "How about it?! Saturday?"
"Yeah alright!" I sniffled. He hugged me tighter. I felt his warm embrace be ripped away from me. I looked up to see Matt pinning him up against the wall. "MATT!" I shouted.
"What you doing?! You think you can touch my girl?!" His voice boomed into Ethan's face.
"Matt please! Ethan is just a friend!" I pulled him off of him. His brown eyes were dark... Almost black. As soon as they looked with mine they turned back to there usual chocolate brown. Draping his arm over my shoulder he led me out of the store with out a word. Kelly, another worker in the store handed me my bag. Her face struck with fear as she took in Matt's dark figure.
He led me to the car.
I jumped into the black BMW and strapped myself in. We didn't talk until we were on campus but all the way back his hand rested on mine. "You've been crying." He said.
"No I haven't!" I protested, but it was no use, the puffiness of my eyes was a clear indication.
"Don't lie to me Sam!" His voice stern. His grip tightened.
"Or what!" I bursted out. "What will you do?! I'm not yours Matt! Even though you think I am! You haven't given me any indication that we're suddenly an item... Have you?" His grip was to hurting point. I pulled away from his grasp. "I have no energy I don't know what to do anymore!" He just stared forward. Didn't even acknowledged that I was getting out. His eyes full of fire and rage. "Listen if you want me text me." And that was the last thing I said to him before I got out of the car and he sped off out of campus and out of sight.
