time passed by ever so quickly.

days turned to weeks, turned to months.

jaehyun? oh, you did your best to avoid his face, but of course, seoul is rather a small city and it also did not help that you two are in the same circle of friends.

at first, your friends understood why you two cannot be in a room with each other. of course, with all the shit happening, they knew it was not the best idea.

but when time goes by, they started to feel uneasy about it. choosing who to invite to the party, choosing sides whenever there's a get together, or even small gatherings, they have to consider who they could invite. you, or jaehyun and his.. new lover.

they would always choose you tho, because they were mad at jaehyun. of course, jaehyun was at fault. but you would always decline, as you really can not enjoy anything for a while.

but now, you feel slightly okay. six months have passed and you feel like you're getting better.

of course, jinyoung was on your side all the time. he supported you, he was there whenever you broke down, and honestly, you felt like you don't deserve him. but then again, your grateful to have him as your friend.

he never pushed his feelings towards you anymore, understanding that you're broken and must not want any commitment right now. also, the fact that you rejected him already made a clear statement of what your relationship is.

also, you never opened up about what happened. jaehyun knew that you were aware of his and minyoung's affair, and he expected you to demand explanation, but you never did. which was a blow to his face, thinking you must've gave up on everything.

which you did. he cheated on you. that's the only thing you need to know. there's no explanation to it. he cheated. threw away years of memories for a moment of lust, which was the most hurtful way of breaking apart.

is your relationship that easy to waste? why is it that he could just throw it all away for a mere.. seconds of pleasure? are you not good enough? is the sex worth everything?

that ran through your head. jaehyun had you looking in the mirror different. thinking you're flawed and worthless, only because he was a fucking asshole.

you breathed deeply, as you went out of your car.

tonight was mingyu's birthday. jaehyun's friend, which became your friend aswell. he invited you carefully,

"uh, so my birthday's on friday..." mingyu said rather awkwardly as he walked with you at the grocery store.

you were shopping for groceries when you ran into the boy.

"yeah.. so?" you had a hunch he's gonna invite you. that tone just said it.

"you're coming, right? i mean jaehyun's thin--"

"sure. i'll go." you said simply as you looked through the chips isle.

"i understan-- wait, what? you're coming?" he looked shocked, as he stopped walking.

you chuckled, "stop over reacting. i don't have anything to do on friday. so.. i'll come. i don't really care if he's there or not. i'll go."

and that brings you here. mingyu's house party. there's not much people invited as you expected, but it's still looks like a party. just.. not very mingyu like. he usually throws big parties and shit, you know, perks of being a frat boy.
