Tohru woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. She wiped her sleepy eyes and pulled the covers off of her. She kept her eyes closed as she opened the door and walked down the hall. Kazuma told Tohru and Kyo that the bathroom down the hall from them was solely theirs to use.

Tohru's half asleep mind wandered the hall when she started to smell something burning. However she just assumed that someone was cooking a late night snack and kept walking.

After her trip she started to feel more awake and decided to investigate the smell. She walked down the stairs and opened the door to the dining room. Nothing. She opened the door to the living room. Nothing. She opened the door to the kitchen. A fire was blazing in the room trying to get out.

Tohru quickly shut the door to the kitchen.

"HELP! THERE'S A FIRE! EVERYONE GET UP!" Tohru yelled as loud as she could trying to make sure everyone got out in time. Kagura was the first to meet her downstairs.

"Tohru?!"

"Where's Kyo?!"

"I don't know! I haven't seen him"

Tohru raced upstairs to get to their bedroom. The smoke was starting to spread in the house and the left side in the location of the kitchen was starting to crumble. Tohru did her best to race to Kyo but before she could something heavy hit her right on the head. HARD.

Before she knew it she was on the ground. She felt her vision get blurry and there was a shiver up her spine. Tohru did her best to crawl on the floor, desperately hoping to get to Kyo. Losing him would be the worst thing to ever happen to her.

She started getting tunnel vision and her eyes closed, with her last thought being of the love of her life...

The next morning Tohru woke up to see Kisa sleeping in the other bed next to hers. After their crying fest they both went right to sleep on the floor. Tohru guessed the boys probably put them to bed.

Her eyes still felt dry from all the crying she did and they were slightly in pain. She wiped her eyes with her hands and moved the blankets covering her to the side.

When she was dressed she walked downstairs to see Kyo, sitting on the couch and reading a book. For some reason unknown to her, Tohru couldn't help but smile. Kyo almost didn't notice her standing there.

"Take a picture. It'll last longer," Kyo said not even looking up from his book.

"Ahh I'm sorry! Um I just didn't want to interrupt your reading!" Tohru panicked.

"Relax. I was kidding," He smiled at her and put the book down. Tohru walked to the couch opposite of him and they sat face to face.

"Um what were you reading?" Tohru built up the courage to ask. Kyo picked up the book to show it to her and looked at it.

"Just a random martial arts book."

"Oh, I had no idea you were into that stuff!"

"Yeah! I've been training for a long time and of course my master is always there to help me train," Kyo has stars in his eyes as he's speaking about his love for martial arts.

"Woah! You have a master?" Tohru was starting to get interested. In the back of her mind she has a very specific image of what she thinks his master would be. He has really long brown hair pulled back into a ponytail with brown eyes to match. She wonders if this could be what Kyo's master actually looks like.
