She smiled at the little boy who came up to her with a cheeky grin and his hand out for the ball she'd picked up from near her feet.
His illness was obvious to all but his whole existence seemed to push it aside and the little boy lived in the moment.
His gaze had her looking in the direction that he was and there, pinned to a tree was a blue piece of paper. Her eyes wide before she blinked twice and turned back to the child to see him run off to the people he'd come with. Laughter pushed away any possibility of sadness for a life that may not find a long length of time.

How I long to witness the suns rays against your hair. To walk with you through the park and laugh with you as we plan our life together.
Courage Josephine. Courage to find the realisation that not every moment in our lives is what we wish it to be. With sadness comes the chance of a new life.
