Walking through the office she nodded with a soft smile at those who offered their own. Every person in the office was busier than normal that day. The new boss was coming.

No one was exactly sure who he was. There were simply too many rumours floating around. One said he was a vicious man, a tyrant, who had his workers in tears while another had him a simpler man who praised his staff and encouraged greatness when things went bad.

Whomever he was she wisely knew that things in the office were about to change.

A runner, an office boy of sorts, was running by desks and placing an envelope on each one. She had to admit her curiousity was spiked  and hurried back to her desk.

Hurrying to pick up the envelope that had already been delivered she read the page of new rules all employees must now abide by. With her nose screwed up she started to return the page to the envelope when she noticed a piece of blue paper inside.

My dear Josephine,

I must confess I am wishing away the days, the hours and the minutes until I see you once more. Each is a wretched moment of pain that keeps us separated.

Wisdom Josephine. Wisdom to know that change doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing. In many ways we must all embrace that which we don't know in order to understand the path we need to go by.

Until next time my love,

Your very own,

Dear Heart xxx
