Mitsuri was contemplating in her seat. For the past two days, Shinobu and Giyu haven't talked to each other and it has bothered Mitsuri
Especially since they've seemed like a future couple for the past weeks so their relationship going cold was quite surprising
It also made her suspicious. She wondered if their relationship went cold because something happened between the two
Her focus now is trying to rekindle the relationship
"Hey Shinobu!" Mitsuri said after approaching her "Oh hey Mitsuri!" Shinobu said before Mitsuri sat beside her
"What happened between you and Giyu?" Mitsuri said bluntly, surprising Shinobu "Did he do something to you? Did he hurt you?" Shinobu frantically shook her head
"Did you do something then?" Shinobu shook her head again
"I don't wanna talk about it" Shinobu said "Well whose fault was it then?" Shinobu shrugged
"Not sure, I guess we both did something wrong" Shinobu said, confusing Mitsuri
"Well why haven't you talked to him in the past two days? Was what happened really that bad?" Mitsuri asked
"I'm just scared that what we did would make things... awkward between us two" Mitsuri still looked confused
"What could've happened that would make things awkward? It's not like you guys tried to kiss each other" Mitsuri said with a laugh
She stopped laughing though as she saw the guilt in Shinobu's face. Mitsuri looked at her in disbelief
"You..." Mitsuri smirked widely "tried to kiss him?" Mitsuri giggled
"It's not like that, okay!" Shinobu exclaimed with a slight blush "I just... I don't know, it just happened" Shinobu tried to explain
"It's not like I like him or anything" Shinobu tried to justify again but as she had thought, there was no use trying to explain with Mitsuri
"My my Shinobu, it's been barely a month and you're already trying to kiss Giyu?" Mitsuri started giggling again
"It's not like that between me and Tomioka-san, it was just an accident" Mitsuri shook her head
"You know you can't salvage this anymore, Shinobu." She sighed and looked at Mitsuri "Whatever" Shinobu said before standing up and approaching Giyu
Shinobu grabbed Giyu by the wrist and started to drag him to the balcony
"What are you doing, Kocho?" Giyu asked in a confused tone "Shut it" Shinobu said aggressively, not even looking at him, promptly shutting Giyu up
As they arrived at the balcony, Shinobu turned to face Giyu
"So... why'd you drag me here?" Giyu asked the Shinobu who was clearly annoyed "Just— listen, okay?" He nodded
"So... about the other day..." Shinobu said turning away from Giyu "when we were at your place... and you know..." Shinobu said awkwardly as they both blushed
"Just to let you know that it meant nothing, okay? Absolutely nothing" Shinobu said, turning to face Giyu again
"Oh... that? Yeah that meant nothing" Giyu said making Shinobu nod
"Still don't tell anybody. It was embarrassing enough" Giyu nodded
"So are we good now? You won't ignore me anymore?" Giyu asked
"My my Tomioka-san, do you care about me that much to want to talk to me?" Shinobu teased making Giyu chuckle
"If that's what makes you happy then I shall oblige" The two laughed before entering the class again
Shinobu was a bit disappointed though, even if she would have never admitted it
She hoped that Giyu had denied, and that the attempted kiss actually did mean something and that it would've potentially lead to something
Mitsuri smiled at the two. She was happy that they're acting normal again. Not only because she likes their friendship, but also because she wants to see the two get together now
