Giyu paced around his phone that was laying on the living room table. Sabito laughed at him from the kitchen
"You've already decided an hour ago, Giyu" Sabito stopped chopping the carrots "And yet you're still acting so indecisive?" Sanemi asked
"I'm just..." Giyu took a deep breath "a bit nervous, that's all" Giyu said before sitting down
"Look..." Sabito approached him "If you can't do this today, there is always tomorrow" Sabito said before sitting down beside him
"I know but... if I don't do it now I feel like I'll delay it more and more everyday" Giyu explained looking at Sabito
"You don't want to be like me?" Sabito asked and Giyu shook his head "It's fine Giyu, I get it" Sabito assured him
"It's been so many years already and I just don't want that to happen with me too" Giyu tried to explain to not offend him
"There's no need to explain. I get it" Sabito assured him again "But you don't have to worry about becoming that" Giyu was confused
"I'm like this because I'm a coward who can't face his fear. That's not you" Giyu shook his head
"That's not true, Sabito. You're not a coward, that's ridiculous" Giyu said
"Yeah yeah. Just decide on what to do. Okay?" Giyu nodded after a few seconds, prompting Sabito to go back to cooking
Giyu picked up his phone and reluctantly started to dial Shinobu's number
"Giyu? You already called me this morning" Shinobu said with a laugh. It did feel good that Giyu was looking out for her
"I was just worried that you haven't eaten yet because of what happened" Giyu explained making Shinobu smile
"It's already been a week since. I'm okay now" Shinobu assured Giyu "You don't have to call me everyday anymore" Shinobu said, trying not to be a burden to Giyu
"Okay, I won't anymore. I'll call often though" Giyu said with a chuckle
"Has Kanae also been doing well?" Giyu asked before going into his room "She seems good. You know she's great at hiding her real emotions though so maybe not" Shinobu said, going upstairs
"How about you? How have you been?" Shinobu entered her room "I've been doing well" Giyu layed down
"Mitsuri hasn't invited us in a get together yet so I'm just hanging out with Sabito most of the time" Giyu explained further
"That's good" Shinobu also layed down "Oh I forgot to ask this last time. Are you fine with me using your first name now" Shinobu asked
"We were just doing it for the fake dating thing but I forgot to revert to calling you Tomioka-san"
"It's fine, Shinobu" Giyu assured her "How about me? Are you fine with it?" Shinobu chuckled
"Of course I'm fine with it, dumbass" Shinobu said with a giggle "I've been begging you for months now for that" Giyu chuckled
"Just asking for your consent"
"But I do want to ask something too" Shinobu was intrigued "What is it?" She asked
"Well it's about my prize for fake dating with you" Giyu brought up which Shinobu almost completely forgot about at that point
"Oh that? What about it?"
"Did you mean it? Like actually anything? Even if you don't want?" Giyu asked making Shinobu smirk
"Why, Giyu? Do you have something inappropriate in mind, you perv?" Shinobu teased before lightly giggling
"Well what if what I had in mind was inappropriate, Shinobu? Would you allow it?" Shinobu gulped at the sound of Giyu's confident tone and bold question
Shinobu thought Giyu's confident voice was so hot and attractive. If Shinobu was honest, even if Giyu didn't cash in the reward, she would allow almost anything for him, even inappropriate, as long as he used that voice
"Sorry" Giyu said with a laugh, reverting back to his normal self. Shinobu liked his normal self too though
Shinobu fake coughed "Anyways... why'd you bring it up. You're going to cash the reward already?" Shinobu asked
"Well maybe not now. Maybe next week" Shinobu was again intrigued "You already have something in mind?" Shinobu asked
"Yeah... It will surprise you" Giyu warned, sounding a bit shy at the end
"Oh... what is it?" Shinobu asked out of curiosity "Well I don't know if I should" Giyu said
"I can tell you, but I would have to move the occasion to two days from now" Giyu said
"Yes!" Shinobu said immediately "Just tell me. I'm too curious" Shinobu said
"I'm going to ask you on a date" Shinobu's heart stopped at the reveal of his request
"Shinobu?" She was frozen in shock. She never imagined that Giyu would take her out on a date
She pinched herself, trying to snap out of her dream but alas, it was real. The moment she had dreamed for. It was real
"Shinobu?" Giyu asked again, kinda getting worried that something happened to her
"I'm still here" Giyu sighed a breath of relief "You scared me" Giyu said with a chuckle
"You're serious about this? You're not messing with me?" Shinobu asked, trying to keep her cool since she was very close to exploding in joy
"Yes, Shinobu, I'm serious" Giyu said, making Shinobu pinch herself once again "It's a bit sudden but I didn't want to delay my feelings any further" Giyu explained
"I have feelings for you, so I'm asking you out on a date" Shinobu muted herself before jumping on her bed and squealing in joy
"So... is that fine with you?" Giyu asked. Shinobu unmuted herself "Well I can't really say no, Giyu. That's the point" Shinobu giggled
"But even if you didn't use the reward, I would've still said yes" Giyu was shocked at the reply
"And that's because I like you too, dumbass" Shinobu said with a joyful giggle
She didn't know if she should've said this now or if she should have waited until the date to also confess, but she said it now
"I've liked you since the almost kiss" Shinobu admitted "I was in denial for a couple weeks after that but I decided that I actually did like you" Shinobu explained further
"Oh wow..." Giyu said, after a few seconds of being speechless. He was almost a hundred percent sure that Shinobu didn't like him the way he did, but he was very wrong
"Sorry... this is a bit shocking" Giyu said with a wide smile "You like me too?" Giyu asked rhetorically before laughing in joy
"I asked myself that too" Shinobu said with a giddy voice
"I'll see you in two days then..." Giyu said, about to hang up "Don't leave" Shinobu unknowingly said
Shinobu had a surprised look before covering her mouth
"Sorry, I didn't mean to say that..." Shinobu said, a bit emberrassed that she said that
"It's fine... I'll stay" Giyu said
They went on to talk for three more hours
