Giyu came home from a long day of school. He opened the door of his apartment and opened the lights
His apartment was pretty big. The living room was on the right once you enter and the kitchen and dining area was at the left
He looked around and saw that no one else was there. He immediately went to his room to get changed
He exited his room and looked at the room of his roommate to see if he was just sleeping in there but no, he was actually alone
Giyu didn't mind it though and opened the TV. He didn't plan on actually watching anything. It was just for some background noise while he started cooking dinner
He opened the cabinet and fridge to grab some ingredients for chicken teriyaki.
He started preparing to cook before the apartment door opened. Giyu took a peek at the door and it was Sabito
"You're back" Giyu said before putting his attention back to cooking "And you're cooking again" Sabito said, throwing his bag to the couch
"Didn't I say I'll do it for tonight?" Sabito asked and Giyu nodded "Well you're bad at cooking so what was I supposed to do?" Giyu joked in his monotone voice
"I'm not that bad at cooking" Sabito said and Giyu shook his head "Is it really?" Sabito asked and Giyu shook his head
"Why'd you say I was bad then?" Sabito questioned "I was joking" Giyu said
"You're joking nowadays?" Sabito said in disbelief "I'm trying it. Not sure if they're any good" Giyu said making Sabito chuckle
He rushed to his room and got changed.
After a few minutes, he exited the room and Giyu was still at the kitchen, but now with his phone out
"You texting somebody?" Sabito asked in a teasing tone. Giyu nodded "Wait like actually? You're texting somebody?" Sabito asked before peeping at his phone
"You know you don't have to peep right? You can just ask" Giyu said and Sabito laughed
"It's Mitsuri, she's telling me about this chatting app that lets you talk to a stranger and make some friends" Sabito liked the idea
"We all know you need friends" Sabito said, switching channels in the TV "If people were better, I'd have more friends" Giyu explained
"What do you mean better?" Sabito asked and Giyu shrugged "I don't know like..." Giyu thought for a second
"Less annoying or..." Sabito cut him off "This is about that girl again right?" Sabito asked. Giyu nodded
"What's so bad about her, Giyu?" Sabito asked, genuinely curious "It's not like she's annoying towards others... it's really just me" Sabito nodded
"I don't think I did something so it's a bit confusing" Giyu explains, turning the stove off "When she's not annoying me, she's normal, but that's like a dime a dozen" Giyu explains further
"Maybe it's because you're so silent that she has something against you now" Giyu looked confused "How can me being silent lead to her hating me?" Giyu asked in a confused tone
"Giyu... being silent and not responding to others can rub people the wrong way. Even if it also makes you more attractive to others" Sabito explains
"For example, if she asks for your name and you just stay silent, that can make you seem rude, even if that wasn't your intention" He explains further
Giyu nodded, even though the concept was still confusing for him since he's not that experienced with people in general
"She's still annoying" Sabito laughed. Giyu hasn't been this upset in a long time
"If she was normal, would you be friends with her?" Giyu thought for a bit before nodding
"Probably. She seems okay when she's not harassing me" Giyu said
"Alright let's eat to get your mind off her" Sabito says as he transfers the food in the pan to a plate and they fix the table and started to eat
