The two sat there in silence. Giyu was waiting for Shinobu to say something
"Tomioka-san, after this... can I stay at your place for now?" Giyu was surprised at the remark "I really don't want to meet with them yet" Shinobu said with a little chuckle
"Kocho, do you really wanna delay the inevitable? Whether you like it or not, you're meeting them" Giyu pointed out
"Better to do it sooner than later"
"I know but..." Shinobu couldn't say her next few words
Shinobu sat there in silence while Giyu was waiting for her response. She was just contemplating on what to do
"Alright... I'll go meet them" Shinobu said reluctantly before standing up
"Wait. You're going home already?" Giyu asked and Shinobu nodded
"Sorry, Tomioka-san. I might change my mind if I don't go now" Shinobu said
"Alright... um... good luck" Giyu said awkwardly before they parted ways
Giyu stayed for a few more minutes but felt lonely and went home after

Shinobu opened the gate and entered. Kanae was at the front door, waiting for Shinobu
As Kanae saw Shinobu enter, she approached her
"Shinobu!" Kanae said, trying to Liven up the clearly displeased Shinobu "Don't even try to make this situation better" Shinobu said
"Sorry but please just do your fake smile and don't be too mean, okay?" Kanae asked and Shinobu reluctantly nodded
"Why do you care anyway? You should be angrier than me" Shinobu said and Kanae deadpanned
"You know I don't actually care about those two but I need them in a good mood" Shinobu looked confused
"Why? You need something from them?" Shinobu asked and Kanae nodded "The two don't know about me and Sanemi yet" Shinobu looked surprised
"Really? And you're trying to get their approval while they're here?" Shinobu asked and Kanae nodded
"Then I guess it can't be helped" Shinobu said before closing her eyes and transforming into lively and happy Shinobu
"I owe you" Kanae said before they entered
"Shinobu!" Moriko says before hugging Shinobu "Mom!" Shinobu exclaimed making Moriko laugh before breaking the hug up
"Sorry Shinobu for your mom. You know how she is" Kozue says with a laugh "I know dad" Shinobu says with her fake smile
"You went to the culture festival with a friend?" Moriko asked and Shinobu nodded "Mitsuri invited me but she flaked" Shinobu explained
"Well since you're here already, we should eat" Kozue says before going into the dining room "But dad we already ate dinner earlier" Shinobu said
"Well we'll eat then and you three just sit with us so we can catch up" The three nodded before the family sat together at the dining table
They then caught up with each other for the next hour

Shinobu frantically called Giyu and after three seconds he picked up
"Kocho? Why'd you call? Also did you get home safe?" Giyu asked a flurry of questions that Shinobu didn't even hear
"Be my boyfriend!" Shinobu exclaimed taking Giyu off guard "This is a bit sudden" Giyu says with a small chuckle
