Invited to a Royal Ball

Zoe was sleeping throughout the whole day. She only woke when a knock at her bedroom doors was made and a messenger walked inside. He bowed before explaining that Prince Izana wanted to see her. She rushed, despite being in her nightdress, to his study. Right in time to see Zen and Shirayuki walking there too. She walked with them the rest of the way.

"Sorry to summon you at this time of night." Izana said, for once, not wearing his jacket since it was so late at night. "It's good to see you've been resting." He told her.
"What business do you have with me, Lord Brother?" Zen asked.
"Technically, I don't have any business with you, but I thought you'd get mad if I didn't summon you, as well." He spoke. "Shirayuki, it's been a while, huh?" He asked.
"Yes, Prince Izana." She said.
"You and Zoe have been invited to the hall in our neighboring kingdom of Tanbarun." He spoke. Of course she had been invited... "We invited their first prince here before, Prince Raji. Remember?" He asked. She didn't listen to the bit after it, waiting for her brother to finish chatting to Shirayuki. Izana ordered Shirayuki to go to the ball and that she would have training until then so she wouldn't make the country look stupid.

"Lord brother, may I ask, why was I invited?" She spoke up.
"The King has requested your presence at the ball, Prince Raji agree'd to it because he didn't see much of you when he visited. It would be a great opportunity for you." He smiled.
"Very well brother, I will go with Shirayuki to this ball." She said.

Suddenly Zen was bowing on the floor. She sighed.
"Lord Brother, will you allow me to add a condition to that order?" He asked. She knew Izana would say yes because what Zen did, would involve protecting Zoe also.
"A condition?" He asked.
"I would like to have someone I trust to accompany Zoe and Shirayuki. As an attendant." He stated.
"I think, since Mitsuhide and Kiki look after you the most rather than Zoe, you may pick the Attendant going. Although please give Zoe a say in who it is. Zoe, be aware, the king of Tanbarun will have plenty of guards watching after you." He told her.
"Thank you for informing me, Lord Brother." She bowed her head.
"Zen... Shirayuki, you may leave." He told them. They instantly left. "While your in Tanbarun I wish for you to take a break from your own Royal duties. Help Shirayuki change Prince Raji more. Show him what a true royal should act like. Can I trust you with that?" He asked.
"You can." She nodded.
"I wish for you to continue your work till you leave, perhaps give your dancing a check up as well. I will see you soon." He told her.
"Of course, Izana." She nodded and left, going back to her room to sleep.

For the next few days, her life continued as it normally did. She woke up, did her work, did a bit of dancing, spoke to people and so on. She had even been fitted for a new dress also. It was acctuly a quite beautiful dress, however she was quite a bit annoyed when Izana sent message that her head had to be sized too. The king of Tanbarun wanted her to wear a tiara at the ball, to show she was royalty. Atleast then, she wouldn't get hurt by others. Thankfully only for the ball.

She was invited to have dinner with Zen, Obi, Mitsuhide and Kiki. 2 butlers stood near the door.

"Like I said, I'm going to Joka together with Shirayuki." Zen spoke.
"Together?" Mitsuhide asked.
"Yes, a lot has happened lately, so we haven't had much free time." Zen told him.
She plopped a peice of potato in her mouth, swallowing it quickly. "So that's why you were acting strange and doing things so focused." She joked with him, pickin up her glass of red wine and drinking a bit.
"I was going to have a day off after all." Zen answered.
"Kiki and I can't accompany you?" Mitsuhide asked. Zen just glared at him.
"Kiki and you can help me out tommorow. I have to sort out the books in my office before I head to Tanbarun." She told them. Zoning out from the rest of the convocation. She waved over one of the butlers, asking for a glass of water. He nodded and went to grab it her. Kiki leaving part way for some reason. The man returned with water which she just sipped, watching the boy's being pathetic. Kiki walked over with tea.

Of course it was nice talking with the group again, so she just went ahead to do her own things after. Of course she found herself growing bored. She was slowly getting less and less work so that the could stop on the day of going to Tanbarun with Shirayuki.
She was sent a message from Zen saying Obi would now be the one going with them to be the attendant. But in no time at all it was the night before going to Tanbarun.

Maids and Butlers along with Soldiers, went into her room to grab her bags. A few soldiers left that night to drop them off at Tanbarun.
