Chapter 4: The Discovery

I woke up early to prepare breakfast since it was Sunday, I and Jaelyn have a tradition that we both have a morning tea party and enjoy ourselves I set the tea kettle to boil while that was ready I started to think of what to cook for breakfast the idea was either scrambled eggs with hash browns or waffles but I remembered how much Jaelyn loved waffles I chose that for her while I was cooking I decided to look at the news so I could realize what was going on. Then Cerim sensed the aroma and appeared in front of me before I fell he cached me then I blushed and said: "W-what did I t-tell y-you about d-doing t-that?!" and I realized that it was my aroma according to him it's inevitable that always drives him crazy then he pulled me close and smelled my neck then said "You smell amazing Eden" then I was getting a little annoyed then said ''Cerim...Let me go!" I backed away and glared at him then said "I'm cooking here" then he chuckled and said "Your smell always drives me crazy...heh" then I blushed and said, "uhh...thanks?" then he smiled softly and he let go of me as I continued cooking the waffles then I asked, "So, how did you sleep Cerim?" then he replied, "Very well thanks what about you cutie?" I answered "I slept well to" then he replied "great to know" he went behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist then blushed but ignored it then he said "Those waffles have a perfect golden brown I'm impressed" then I answered "it's no big deal they are just waffles" he chuckled then said after letting me go "but I can tell they aren't better than you" then I blushed again and said "t-thanks?" and continued cooking and Cerim was lovingly staring at me.

Cerim then said, "You know not all vampire knights are chosen to protect beautiful and sexy girls like you..." he licked his fangs then still blushing "heh well you know what they say not all are lucky" he chuckles then replies "Exactly" I finished cooking the waffles then opened the refrigerator to get some whipped cream and strawberries cause I knew how much Jaelyn loved them and a small amount of whipped cream then Cerim said "that smells delicious Eden" I thanked him then Jaelyn came out happily then said " Hey sis are you cooking waffles" then I smiled and looked at her happily saying "Good morning Jaelyn and yes I am" her eyes were full of happiness and she hugged me holding her plush and said "yay! thanks, sis" I chuckled and hugged her back then said "Your welcome" after that I held her and she saw Cerim and she said "sissy there's a stranger in our house" I looked at him then said, "Oh you mean Cerim? Don't worry he isn't a stranger. Cerim this is my little sister Jaelyn. Jaelyn this is my best friend Cerim" then she answered "h-hello mister nice to meet you this is Mittens" she showed him her plush cat then he replied "heh. Why hello there Jaelyn and Mittens it's a pleasure to meet you both" he patted her head and giggled nervously and Cerim smiled then Jaelyn looked at me and said, "Can I wear a costume?" I smiled then said "Sure. Why you and Mittens get ready cause breakfast don't is almost ready" then she said "Yay!" I realized her back on the floor then she pulled one of Cerim's sleeves then said "I'll be right back mister" he chuckled then said "Don't worry I'm not going anywhere" then she left to get ready.

Cerim looked at me then said "She's so adorable almost like a mini version of you" I looked back then answered "Hey. yeah, I know" I served the waffles, set the table, and poured tea on a pot then asked, " Can I offer you anything Cerim?" then he answered, "I think tea will be fine thank you" I turned and said "Okay. Milk and sugar?" he answered "yes. sugar one spoon only" I prepared his tea then gave it to him and he answered " thank you Cutie" he winked then started to sip his tea I blushed a bit then said, "Y-your welcome" after that Tigress came by then said "Morning Cerim and Eden" we both replied "Morning Tigress" I served her some food then she said "Thanks" after that Cerim asked, "I thought tigers ate meat only" then Tigress replied "normal tigers, not spirit ones" she continued eating then Jaelyn came back "I'm back" I looked at her and Mittens and giggled then said "Just in time heh" then she said "yay!" then I smiled and looked at her then asked, "How many strawberries you want Jaelyn?" then she replied "5 please" then I sliced them and combined it with a small amount of whipped cream. I looked at her and served her plate then said "Here you go Jaelyn" she thanked me and started eating happily.
