Chapter 19: Normal Life

I told Jaelyn it was getting late and she had to go to sleep soon she then said, "aww...but I'm not tired" as Tigress replied, "I know but you must get some rest Jaelyn...we should all get some rest" Jaelyn obediently did so and asked if I could sing her the lullaby and I replied, "sure: then she went in her bed and waited for me to sing as I began she started to get sleepy many kids around the world loved the lullaby and as time passed it got popular some parents began to think it had a spell but that wasn't true it was just a normal lullaby for kids to sleep quicker even if they were energetic. Tigress smiled saying, "you're going to be a great mother Eden I can see it in you" I smiled then thanked her and tucked Jaelyn in, and went to the living room with Tigress while Cerim was in his room looking at the roof then realized after the battle Rhett got stabbed in the shoulder and Cerim was bleeding still I went to the kitchen taking the first aid then went to knock in Cerim's door then entered and Cerim said, "who is it?" then I answered, "it's me, Eden..." Cerim turned to face me then I looked at his eyes, "you're injured...let me help you with that" Cerim sat on his bed then I took a cloth and passed it through his injuries he grunted then I said, "s-sorry...it may sting a bit since its hot water but it's important" then he said, "w-why don't you just use your healing powers?" I disagreed with him telling him that I was tired of being a Goddess of Light and just wanted to live my normal life for now and I want that version to stay hidden and will only appear when it's necessary.

Cerim looked at my neck as his eyes began to glow red and he looked away, I looked at him confused, "what's wrong Cerim?" then he nodded fighting it replying, "n-nothing..." I knew he was lying then said, "Cerim you are lying what's wrong?" then he faced me and I saw his eyes glowing red then understood replying, "thirsty huh?" Cerim nodded in agreement and said, "yeah...but I won't" I looked at him serious replying, "we talked about this Cerim" he scoffed then I finished with his injuries and bandaged them and got up looking at his green eyes that were glowing red and I let out a sigh and said, "just do it" Cerim pulled me close to him on his arms while I was blushing lightly as his face got close to my neck then licked it still fighting it then I said, "stop fighting...it's okay just do it" he grazed his fangs I could feel how they were getting closer I closed my eyes preparing for him to strike and at that moment, I felt a light pain but I knew they were his fangs and let out a grunt as he began to suck my blood I didn't stop blushing while he continued then stopped pulling away wiping the blood from his lips then looked at my eyes saying," thanks, Eden..." I replied, "welcome next time don't regret it and do it it doesn't matter if you appear all of a sudden and bite me" Cerim moved his hair away from his eyes answering, "alright" I picked up the first aid and looked at him smiling, "you better get some rest or else your injuries won't heal quickly" he chuckled replying, "ok I'll keep that in mind goodnight Eden" then he patted my head and I replied, "alright sweet dreams Cerim" I left his room and went back to the kitchen then went to sleep.

The next day, I woke up early to make breakfast for the three of us after fixing my hair then Jaelyn came in and said, "sissy what are you doing up so early?" then I replied, "Good morning to you two Jaelyn...I have to cure Zane's injuries that's why but don't worry it isn't that serious" then she understood replying, "okay tell Zane and Tommy I say "Hi" I smiled then hugged her answering, "I will" she hugged back after I finished cooking for them and Tigress greeted us I served breakfast and ate with them and washed the dishes and turned to both saying, "Tigress I'm going to treat Zane's injuries I'll be right back...Jaelyn make sure you behave yourself with Tigress" I changed and walked to Zane's house. I arrived then knocked on his door while footsteps approached to open the door and he said, "Yes?" I saw him holding his shoulder from the battle while he was still bleeding a bit then asked, "May I come in?" he looked at me and smiled, "oh hey Eden it's you...sure" I entered closing the door as he went to sit on the couch and saw how serious his injury was then he said, "what are you doing here?" then I replied, "to take care of your injury what else?" then he replied, "It's just a stab in the shoulder no big deal...and thanks" then I answered, "well it is for me...since we're getting married I want to cure everything I have to" he let out a sigh then smiled.
