Chapter 18: The Battle

Rhett and I were still dealing with Rupert and the guards but we finally knocked them out and went to help Cerim with Alfred, Zephyr, and Evan but more guards came in Zephyr then stabbed Cerim's shoulder he grunted looking at the cut then Zephyr kicked him against the wall and was about to stab him but he jumped then punched Zephyr but he skipped it and continued fighting while Rhett battled Alfred and Evan while I was battling several guards Cerim got pushed against the wall while Zephyr held his shirt tightly glaring at each other emotionless then Zephyr said, "what type of vampire knight do you think you are heh...once I am done with you I'll be Eden's vampire knight over your dead body...any last words before I stab you in the heart?" Cerim struggled to free himself but said, "Just because you're a half-blood doesn't mean you're stronger than a vampire knight" he grabbed Zephyrs leg and flipped him to the ground with a foot on top of him but then Cerim freed himself and grabbed Zephyr by the neck pinning him against the wall saying, "you know what's the difference between both of us?" he grunted trying to free himself from Cerim's grip but couldn't then Cerim said, "we vampire knights are a lot quicker, stronger and of course..." he flipped him to the ground with a foot on his neck staring coldly at him "We have better fighting skills" then Zephyr disappeared.

Then he reappeared on Cerim's back and slashed him again he grunted then I said, "Cerim!" a guard trapped me but I freed myself again and finally knocked him out while Rhett and I continued dealing with Evan and Alfred then Zephyr said, "True but we half-bloods heal instantly and silver doesn't affect us other than you vampire knights" Cerim looked at him coldly as they continued fighting. Finally, the last guards were defeated along with Alfred and Evan then Rhett saw my neck and said, "uhh Stacia where is the crystal?" then I said, "I have it right..." then realized it wasn't there anymore I looked around saying, "WE HAVE TO FIND IT!" we searched for it but didn't see it anywhere but before we started Herschel said, "looking for something?" he had the crystal on his hand and I said, "HERSCHEL! PLEASE GIVE THAT BACK TO ME!" then he said evilly, "or what?" then Rhett closed his fists saying, "HAND IT OVER FATHER! IT DOSNT BELONG TO YOU!" then he finally was able to break the force field then it began to glow "NO!" then Herschel chuckled evilly saying, "did you think you could defeat me...all I needed was to marry you and let the crystal fall in my hands to be unstoppable and finally it's going to happen I'll be unstoppable" then I said, "Herschel you have no idea how powerful that is!" then he replied, "no dear you're the one who has no idea...in fact, you have no idea what's going on even if you have awakened" then hung the crystal oh his cheek as it began to change.

Once the crystal was black already an aura surrounded Herschel's body as the power flew inside of him then his body began to change then Herschel said, "Time for you three to see my true form" his eyes turned red, as a black cloak changed what he was wearing along with a cape, dark brown dragon-like wings grew on his back, as claws came out his fingers, and to complete the transformation the aura surrounded his body then snapped his fingers and paralyzed Cerim and Rhett they grunted then I turned and saw them, "guys!" I took my sword out and went running to Herschel but he disappeared then tried to look for him but he appeared behind me trapping me in his arms saying, "not so fast darling" I looked at him saying, "LET GO!" I struggled to free myself and felt his breath on my neck I struggled still then Rhett said, "EDEN!" then Herschel summoned some troops they began to get close to Cerim and Rhett then I grabbed my sword and tries to attack but he skipped and floated away from me and he said, "so you want to play rough hm? Fine have it your way!" I knocked out the troops then pointed my word at him then flew towards him and was about to stab him but he summoned vines I gasped then my arms, legs, wings, and the dress was tied hardly then said, "GAHHH!" I tried to free myself but then Herschel said, "Keep moving Stacia and it will only tangle you more" the energy force began to weaken Cerim and Rhett Cerim's mark began to glow red and freed himself.
