Chapter 14: Like father like Son

Tigress then said, "alright Cerim and Rhett I will be programming the hex bugs while you reach Eden be careful" they agreed and Tigress sent one hex bug in the room where I was and the other to the troops to check what they are up to Cerim and Rhett began to walk to the main entrance of the palace then Tigress said, "Alright, one camera is in floor 1 and the other in floor 2 while the palace began to crawl with guards then Cerim said, "where inside the palace now where can we find Herschel?" then Rhett said, "As far as I've lived here he is always either in his room or living room so we can start the search there" at that time guards arrived and pointed their staffs at them saying, "Don't move!" Cerim glared and saw the silver staff and took a few steps back to avoid contact. Three other guards arrived and they were surrounded and they prepared to fight Rhett growled saying, "Tigress looks like we are going to be busy before we reach Eden" Tigress understood and repeated the warning for Cerim he growled and the guard began to attack him but he sensed that was going to happen so he immediately blocked it then he took his sword out and began to fight him as the swords began to clash while Cerim avoided contact Rhett didn't have any problem the guard's blades slashes against each other echoing in the hallway but without notice, Rhett's arm got cut then he said, "dammit!" a sword was about to stab Rhett but he dodged it and attacked back releasing the sword from the troop's hands while Cerim struggled but most troops were finally knocked out.

They continued their way, then Cerim asked, "Tigress how are you doing?" she then replied, "so far so good I'm on the third floor" then Rhett said, "we have made it to the second floor were on our way to the third one" while they continued they searched if there was a way to locate Stacia but no luck they arrived but more guards showed up and Cerim said, "looks like we're going to have another fight" then Rhett said, "As long as we're here, these guards won't stop coming for us because they knew we were coming to save Stacia" Cerim growled and took his sword out and began to fight immediately as well Rhett and more sword clashed it was two against four both were fighting without notice he got slashed on his back and grunted then Rhett said, "Cerim!" and he finally knocked out the last guards and went to help Cerim up. He got up and they started to walk to the third floor finally arriving Tigress was looking around and found the room where I was being kept she entered by the doorknob and saw me asleep and said, "Rhett...Cerim...I have successfully entered the room where Eden is" Rhett sighed relieved than said, "Good. we will be over there in no time but first I'm pretty sure Hershel is expecting us" she agreed and they both arrived at the living room Rhett glared and sighed frustrated and said, "Cerim stay here I'm pretty sure he just wants to see me" he nodded then Rhett knocked on his door and Herschel said, "Enter." he opened the door then came inside.

Rhett entered the living room with his full Dark Heavens form and said, "I have returned father" he smirked then said, "what a surprise I was expecting you, Rhett" then he replied, "Yeah, ever since I was on the way here I sensed it" Herschel then chuckled and said, "so, where is your little friend?" he then replied, "He's outside the door can he come in?" then Herschel said, "sure since your my son any friend of yours is our guest" Rhett glared at him then said, "Alright, Cerim you can come in" he entered then bowed saying, "Dark Lord Herschel it's a pleasure to meet you" Herschel bowed back then called a maid to bring in some wine and said, "Please make yourselves comfortable" the three of them sat down then he said, "look how much you've grown Rhett" he decided to play along.

Rhett glared at him and they began a conversation "Yes I noticed father how are you?" he then replied, "Very well thanks I see you have awakened already I'm so proud of you so, what brings you here?" he took a sip of his wine and looked at Cerim a little disgusted and he asked, "something wrong Cerim?" he reacted and answered, "No sir don't worry" then Rhett said, ''well he's a vampire knight and they aren't used to wine" then Herschel said, "oh I see how about some blood then?" Cerim looked at him coldly but said, "No thanks I'm fine'' Herschel wanted to make sure if he was okay and he was then repeated, "very well...so what brings you two here?' Cerim just took a sip and didn't say anything and Rhett replied, "I think you know pretty well" Herschel then replied, "no I don't that's why I'm asking" then Rhett decided to play along and not tell him anything and got up and hugged him saying, "I came to see you, father, what else?" then Herschel pat his back and said, "I know I'm just messing with you son" Cerim rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.
