Chapter 23: Contact with Nature

It was a warm summer afternoon, Rhett and I went to the triplets room since we had a surprise for them so we called then in our room, Eve and Heather walked in playing around while Athena just came walking then faced their direction saying, "Girls. Your father and I were talking about plans this summer" the three girls squealed in excitement then Rhett said, "I want to take you to your aunt and uncles house to visit what do you say?" then Heather said, "we have an aunt and uncle?" then Rhett said, "Of Course you do." The three squealed in excitement then I chuckled saying, "Alright girls settle down. It's a long way so I wish you to be patient. And when we arrive I want you to be in your best behavior ok?" they obediently understood then Rhett said, "Were leaving tomorrow morning it's just this weekend" they obediently did so.

The next day we woke up early and got ready, and went to Tracy asking her to take care of the castle while we were gone I trusted Tracy deeply and reminded her to report to me no matter what time or situation is to let me know after that Rhett and I got in the car with the triplets and began to drive. Two hours and a half later we arrived to our destination, and we came down I was holding Eve while Athena and Heather walked holding Rhett's hands and we arrived to the entrance of the mansion and looked at it surprised then Rhett wrapped his arms around me then said, "here we are girls" and Eve went to explore the garden then came back saying, "this is so cool mommy" I chuckled and reminded her that it was Rhett the one who organized it but especially their uncle then Heather looked around and went behind my leg saying, "mommy, it's scary here are you sure we are in the right place?" Rhett chuckled and said, "Don't worry sweetie, its okay" he held her and we approached the door.

Rhett knocked on the door while I carried Eve and held Heather's hand and it creaked open while Heather and Eve stayed behind my legs and Athena hugged one of Rhett's legs and we saw a tall young man with long purple hair, upscale clothing, and hazel eyes then he smiled saying, "You must be the new royal of The Guardian Acres? Am I correct brother?" then Rhett let out a soft chuckle replied, "who else would you expect heh?'' they both hugged and he asked how was he doing and Rhett replied, "Very well, Thank you. Hope you don't mind that my family and I stay here for the weekend?" Kenneth chuckled replying, "No, not all. I invited you did I not...Please make yourselves at home and do come in." he stepped aside saying, "ladies, first." I looked at him then said, "Oh, Thank you." Then walked in with the girls walking to the main room.

Kenneth looked at the three girls with a soft smile saying, "would any of you lovely girls like anything to drink?'' Heather didn't say at first but then smiled saying, "Do you have any orange juice?" Kenneth let out a chuckle replying, "Of Course. What about you brother?" Rhett wrapped an arm around my waist then said, "I think wine will be alright." then he faced my direction saying, "what about you my lady?" then he took my hand kissing backing up and I replied, "I don't want anything, but thanks for your offer" Kenneth understood then Athena and Eve asked for some milk and he gave the orders to the maids and we sat down the couch then Rhett said, "oh by the way, brother these are my daughters: Athena, Heather and Eve and Stacia my wife" I looked at him then bowed saying, "Pleasure to meet you." then he bowed back.

He stood up and replied, "The pleasure is mine my lady" I smiled bowing back and he said, "Lord Kenneth at your service" he bowed one last time then sat on the couch again at that moment, the maids came back with the drinks placing them on the table as Kenneth thanked them and they left and he said, ''I apologize by the mansion on the outside I know its creepy. As you can see, it belonged to my father so it's quite old but trust me it's nothing unusual." We understood then the triplets came to him and Eve said, "What is the name of your kingdom uncle Kenneth?'' he looked at her with a chuckle and replied, "It's not a kingdom. It's just a mansion. But I can tell you that I'm the god of protection and rebirth. But my powers only work on The Dark Heavens." Athena, Heather and Eve stood their looking at him but decided to play along.
